Is Chun-Le coming the 10th? - Am i right in thinking

When you first open the game it says last updated and next updated... it says next update dec 10 so is that when the new character(chun-le) will be added?Or will it be later just wanted to know

oh well thats ok i guess it must be very difficult to make a new character---- I just cant wait for her to get her......kinda funny she's coming on the 30th thats my birthday(guess i kinda got another present to look forward to) :)

Chun-Li is NOT coming out on the 30th (read the loading screen of the game on Dec 8th to find out the exact date) :biggrin:

now.. "will it take years for all of the characters to be implement?" .. valid question... and the answer is "maybe"

right now, the engine is not 100% finished (we dont even have the 4player mode damnit !!) once it is, THEN the characters can be put in one by one using already made templates (this is about the time OTHER people can start helping... well, maybe) :biggrin: .. anyway

the only real q is... when the engine is "done" (lets say... ooh.. few months from now) will people still be around playing the game as much as they do now ?? or will it just die ?

only time will tell... and this is why its really hard to say how long it will REALLY take to implement the 18+ characters we have left...

When 4 player match will be availlaible what will happen to the helpers ? i mean why implementing them if its to remove them cause of the four player mode !

other question... why aren't you asking for help ? like someone doing char when you do the engine !

i dont program so i cant but you can ask around now and then to know !

well, the helpers were implemented MONTHS ago to make up for the lack of the characters... they will (probably) be taken out once the 4player mode is here (but, we'll see)... why was it this done? because i asked around.... everyone liked the idea... and so.. here we are... :biggrin:

why not ask for help? well, u can always go back to the 1st few posts to find out EXACTLY why...

but, basically, NO ONE knows how this game is made, so, in order to get some "help".. i'd need to sit down (for hours on end) teaching people... and figuring out how EXACTLY they can help... and, considering the engine changes almost every week, i really dont feel like doing that over and over (and over) again...

just, dont worry about it SSJKarma... @least for now :biggrin:

i only say that because..what if some one wanted to take on two people at the same time...with only a helper as back up...for the expert players this may add lots more fun to the game...."Bahahahaha...I just whipped YOU and your buddy.....Chumps." :biggrin:

why do you have to change the engine so often TMy?

i plan on being around for a while...i realy want to see you be able to complete this game....so as long as you are coming here and filling us in,with the things that you are doing for/about the game....your gonna see my ugly mug haunting the forum and the chats.

when you reset the score boards...will there be a change in the way the the scoring works? or are you doing this for the convenience of the newer players?....i guess i'd just like to know ..Why reset the scoreboards?whats the purpose of doing that?

and why havent you asked some one to give ya a hand designing the game? (this is your hobbie,huh.)

4player mode is going to be nice but i got an idea. What if every server had a different function. Like one server has a 4 player mode and another probably has one on one fighting and another probably has something else. Just an idea!

If we are going to do a four player mode then I think the next person should be Gambit. Why? Well, since no ones wants copies of people (I want Akuma) then we shouldn't get Cyclops then. We have the most popular people in each series and have the Street Fighter favourite/underdog, so the X-Men favourite/underdog is Gambit (remember the number Bishop did on him?). Anyways is the four player mdoe good? How do you know that you save up your super only to have it wasted? What if you are never able to do double teams? What if the top 2 people always play together and own us all? What if you can't keep the score due to the format? What if Ryu wore pink!?!

gambit should be next...he's my fave. :biggrin: i was gambit before i even knew he exsisted :biggrin: i have french blood in me...i wore and still wear a trench coat. i practiced the quarter staff along with other martial arts and weapons for 3 years..and i gamble with fate daily....so yeah Gambit should be next....he rocks!
