Well this started happening today I fought joejoegun and almost beat him perfect then he starts accusing me of using speed gear/ other things to boost up speed and then after that he watched me fight metal ken 2 times and he still saying i use it..Then just now I foguht morpheusX and I beat him by alot too but he still won a round (in my host) and then he said I use some boosting bull..Now heres my point is speed gear/ other boost programs able to be undetected on sfo anymore at all because im tired of this poop already and I dont wanna hear it anymore..

If your not using it, then you shouldn't worry about it. When i was "good enough" to get more wins late last yr, people said i used speedgear. It wasn't until february i found out what it was... If you got Metal_Ken top think ur using speed gear, then you must have a fast computer. Cuz metal ken's comp is rather fast. I can slightly keep up with him. :biggrin:

my pc fast lmfao u got to be kidding me. My pc is probably the slowest in the whole sfo community at only 664 Mhz. Its my comp lag and fast connection that make me look fast.

Guys fact is... speed gear can barely be used anymore and those i know who uses it truly makes a great difference !

take ti this way... if suddently the game goes from 100 lag to 3000+ never going down again and that the screen is lagging too much to be playable then yes the guy must be using speedgear. and probably that he will be ejected soon for using it... otherwise it mainly is the lag being just awefull.

speedgear got rid of lately... we check the top scores for it and we do have made things worse for people using other softwares to help them get better !
so isuggest you guys stop wondering about all the others... just ignores the fools who can't take a defeat without founding themselves a way to look like hotshots !
forget them if they brag tell them GG and get lost... that's all there is to it !

as for people bashing at joejoegun... well as much as i don't know him, maybe he deserved the treatment you just gave him guys... but were not here to judge people nor to insults them publicly, so i suggest you stop bashing at him before this becomes a living flamiing topic !

SS if that were true about the 100 to 3000+ then there is alot of the well known people using it. I do enjoy the flip side where people say i lag or cheat. Hell i do lag at times we all do that is a simple fact. It is just funny when i tell then i know i lag they never have anything else to say but some racial comment. Well evil is up to more tricks now that the heat is on. he is partnered up with dark fighter. 2v2 so happens the partner they give you never talks never fights and almost always leaves game. Well i was stuck knowing evil would try something so i came prepared. 2v2 my partner leaves before match is even started so im left alone vs 2 people. wtfpwned they didnt even get my half life. We got back in chat and evil told me to f off and got booted by channel bot. Good start to a hot muggy day. :buttrock:

speed gear user is just the new name people have for laggers. before all the stupid speed gear poop people called me a n00b lagger (who beat their ass none the less in a 2 on 2 with a suicide partner). but now if i ever do play i get called a n00b speed gear user.

trust me man. You don't wanna know about it....From what i've established. People (that i've asked/talk to alot) say when they found out about it, they used it....

speed gear is a program that accelerates your computer clock thus making the computer way faster which generates a lot of lag and makes the game unplayable for the other players !

the best way against them is to play with timers on, but normally they shouldn'T be able to play with speed gear on as they should normally get auto-kicked for using it !

knightcry, read my post correctly..

100 to 3000+ AND the game skips a lot of frames thus rendering the game unplayable for you !

if that happens then you are experiencing a speed gear user if not then its only lag doing his job !

When someone is teleporting and throwing specials at me at a rate where I can't even recover is ridiculous. I played some people where they throw a shinkuu hadouken from the left side, and as soon as that is finished they are on the right blasting one. I don't even have enough time to move out of the way! That's all I have to say for now. If anyone knows how to fix this, tell me.

maybe something is slowing down your RAM because lots of programs can slow it down....

Lmao ok so when they do a super on the left maybe they jump to the right without super jumping so that they can hit you with a super and thats also a part of lag because sometimes peoples supers change and end up hitting me like say if someone does a super in the air and are too high sometimes it will teleport down to the ground before it even starts and hit me..And sometimes when i super jump over a super it still hits me and sends me back to where i was. =\

i think the problem here is that not only the speed of the computer speeds are different..but i also think it is the amount of data or other programs running on your computer while you are playing...

like Estset said Turn off your music and background for less lag. And it works! :D
