View Full Version : Blocking maximum spider
[color=#000000:post_uid9]Hi, I'm pretty new to SFO. Whenever I try to block the maximum spider super it always breaks through and hits me. I'm just wondering if there's any trick to blocking it, because it always smokes me.[/color:post_uid9]
Back when I was able to play SFO, the best way I knew to block the "Maximum Spider" Special Attack was to block and super jump in the air at the same time. Then I would attack and jump to the other side with cyclops.... but if you use other people just block and super jump to the other side of the screen.

I normally just jump around while holding my block at the same time. Maybe attack with a projectile like a hadoken, or even a super.

Or call on your helper really quick.

using a helper is a waste....the best way to avoid it is the way dominicankid098 said. jump blocking forward and back during the MS works all the time...

I managed to stop it with a pojectile. But i haven't tried high jumpin it. Sometimes spidey will go above me when i do that and stay behind you til you turn around, thus giving you the opprotunity to get him again when you turn aroundto projectile him and stop him.

The most effecient way is to send a projectile before it comes... that way you don't loose health. If you let it hit you once, then you're done for.

What I do if there's no time to projectile and no helpers left is I block. When he passes me to attack from the other side, simply turn and block. Over and over and over... But yeah... I like your guys's strategies more :)
