i was doing my bi-yearly forum posting/browsing/work (at least it seems like it is becoming bi-yearly at this point... *sigh* )

and what do i find but a signature of STREETCHAMP04 which contains some wild person (possibly him ?? ) performing of what 2000warrior described as: "nerdism to the extreme" :biggrin:

can anyone comment and/or beat this ?? ... i mean... in almost 3 years of this forum, i have NEVER seen anyone put themselves up on display in such semi-insane manner... (Karma create that cartoon character of himself, but it is nothing compared to this crazy performance)

... but if someone CAN beat this (ie: perform and post something of themselves that is even more creative and/or nerdy)... i WILL give that person some sorta' "prize" inside the SFO game... :biggrin:

whatever it is you post has to be of YOU doing something "crazy" that is also SFO related (ie: pulling up old home movies of you playing chess and/or films you found on the internet of some guy on a skateboard are not going to cut it)...

also, while a still shot might be nice, i don't think anything but ... some sort of "moving picture show" (ie: a short film, or an animated gif) acted out with real people is going to beat STREETCHAMP04's work :biggrin:

as for the "prize" ?? good question... if u'r not a VIP, i'll definitely give you them' perks... on top of some sort of hidden-helper in the game or something... (yeah, that sounds like little work for me :biggrin: )

well i do still have my movie that me and my friends made called autobahn on crack, but my pothead friends lost the edited version and are too lazy to re do them, but i still have the original film copied from the camcorder, so if someone wants too, they could help me host it.

I think there's competition between Da_Vipa's video and StreetChamp. I didn't see Karma's video, so he needs to host it. Or if he did, I'll search on it.

Dark_Masta's was a little over hooked. It's hilarous and has mediocre violence, but wasn't that much "cheesy". The music was a "not" streetfighter taste, but yet it wasn't bad. Matches the... actions of a drunk using a hazardous object. Luckily that crowbar of the tip part didn't crack his head in, or get his eye ripped open, or thrust deepily inside his guts while he pulls it out his intestines will pour out. unfortunetly guys... to beat STREET most of us should make a video with sounds from SF and if you truly want it to be chosen it would have to be long and placed on fast-forward since the accelerated thing seems to always give the edge to street.

When I try to play SSJKarma's video, it shows like a huge Q; preferably Quicktime, and then it disappears. Then the video starts playing, but I can't see anything, just a big white background.

Made my new video, i know its weird but its what we are supposed to do, i know there are some weird effects in it like between moves and the likes well i think it just adds to the randomness of it. it kinda makes it better. my video by the way is tmyapp aprooved ! not that it means i will win but it means he thinks its a good video to show to people !

anyway... there is no music video to it cause i decided to go against it. for i didn't find any music that would go well with it.
there is some sync problems between a few moves but its nothing truly much.
otherwise its all me doing some crazy fighting like i do all the times...
man do i repeat always the same moves... guess i'll have to fight another way next time.

You need the divx codecs to be able to watch it, as SSJKarma has said so, he has also provided you a link to the codecs that you need, all you have to do is download the codecs and your set to go.

i just thought the moves looked stupid without any sounds to them. but i still think i could have done better then that sound wise !
as for the quality, well the divx isn't a good quality thing yet it is a good deal between quality and space on HDD !
anyway the fact is it has been done in a resolution of 160x120 due to my camera which isn't very big. i plugged it as a webcam and it did what you saw, not to mention the fact that i compressed it like 5 times due tomy computer crashing on me like 4 times in a row !

but i'm glad you liked it !

well its easy, i tryed doing a lot of moves and then taking out the moves i disliked. but thing is i couldn't find frames with the exact same ending/starting frames. so i had to do something and tryed fading from one images to the others, it sucked balls then i figured it still looked cool in the video, seemed like the guy was fast or something.

anyway as mentionned it adds to the randomness of the video prooves that i'm not very good at video editing !
