does anyone know how to long jump with ryu?

just press down up very fast and he'll do a high jump and move left or right where ever you want to move. If you already know that, then there is no long jump

yea it only goes up
it doesn't go fast across the screen.
what do i do?

what you do is press down up forward or back (fast) so ryu jumps and move the direction

Hmm ok You need to press down then up and right, or left, depending on which side of the screen you are placed.. So if your facing your opponent, and your on the right, you press down then up + left fast and it should super jump over to that side..

Ok so thats the control pad if you want to super jump you need to press down then, the arrow facing up and the arrow facing right at the same time, so = V + ^ >

how do pple use long jump to dodge supers?

remember there is a limit on how often you can super jump, you can jump when the indicator is no longer visible above the health bar.
