Why is spiderman in this game

I just wanna know why he is in it, this is supposed to be X-Men Vs. Street Fighter.Spiderman is neither an X-Men or a Street Fighter.If So the game could be called Street Fighter vs. Marvel Super Hero's.

uh, XtremeZealot? are you sure about that? this is the first I've heard of it in all my time here....

and as for the legal issues, TmyApp is still using copyrighted characters of capcom and marvel, so changing the name would do nothing. And I could never forgive myself if i enjoyed playing a MvC game...

well he implements only characters from Street Fighter and from Marvel.......ghe could implement Magaman, Strrider and all that but he wants the game to stick to Marvel and Street Fighter Characters.......I think that's the right answer :biggrin:

Well... in truth, almost every single character from marvel can be connected to the X-Men in some way (Whether by comics, or tv shows.). I believe that is what TMy said a long time ago to someone who asked why it wasn't called Marvel vs. Street Fighter.

The legal issues is what I thought could also be a reason.

The "Marvel Super Heros vs Street Fighter" is owned by Marvel/Capcom.

The only people who have the legal rights to make it's sequel is Marvel/Capcom.

Let's say TMyApp illegally made the sequel. If it was very crappy, it would be Marvel/Capcom that would receive the bad reputation. They would sue TMyApp for illegaly making a sequel of a game that is not owned by him.

The only other way he could legally make and call it "Marvel Super Heros vs Street Figher 2" is it Marvel/Capcom either give him the legal rights to ie. they hand the whole thing to him, or TMyApp buys it off of them.

Spiderman was in the game cause we could vote for marvel characters as well. The game was only called xmen vs streetfighter but its the same as marvel vs streetfighter.
