what kind of bandwidth is needed to host the d/l? (T1, VHDSL, T3??)
what kind of bandwidth is needed to host an in-game server? (Cable, T1?)

why not make it so you have to install the new version to play, so ppl don't have to d/l off the server every time they log on.

q1: T1+ would prob be the best... but something like a 640Kbits+ connection would (probably) do

q2: DSL or Cable Modem (100Kbits+)

q3: people DONT' have to re-download the game if their browser settings are correct.. if not, then yes, their browser is what makes them re-download the game each time... (that is why those people either need to fix their settings, or, just get the EXE version)

right now you only have three in game servers, you had 5 before, do you need another?

and, why are the other two gone? do the previous hoster's just decide never to turn their server on?

and, does it matter where the server is located? do people connect DIRECTLY to the private server, or does the private server connect to the main, and rack up more potential lag? ??? ex: if Joe Dirt live's in NY, and connects to John Doe's NY server, does he really connect to the main and back again, or is it direct?

servers come and go... everyone have their own reasons (thats why we are always looking for new people to host chat servers)...

chat servers aren't connected to anything... so they can be anywhere... all u need (as mentioned in the "new features" section thread) a Windows system connected to the internet 24/7...
