They had to mess around with the Street Fighters' moves to balance them out against the X-Men. If you want a more traditional SF game, go out and buy Street Fighter Alpha 3.

Okay people. You see how Ryu does a blue thing with his hand then does a Shoryuken. That blue thing is a parry. You press foward and you cancle out the fireball. (REALLY HARD TO EXPLAIN SOMEONE HELP)

That's not a parry, that's an Alpha counter.

the parry is a counter move.. i think the parry and the alpha counter are basically the same thing, just different games...

YES SOMEBODY ELSE KNOWS WHAT A PARRY IS! A parry cancels out prjectiles and some moves. It can be chained to an attack, but isn't one itself.
