Im at school and when i try toplay it says Active X settings do not allow. Ne help?

Thats your schools problem, and you need to talk to the Admin. to fix that, but I doubt they will just because you can't play this at school ;)
I would suggest taking off all your clothes and that would work, but then you might get sent to Jail if you do that in school.

Try changing the settings under Tools/Internet Options/Security (in IE).

Yeah but if he is in school he is probably restricted from that, at my old high school we couldn't even - View, Source!!!!!

I mean it says "Your current security settings prohibit running active x controls on this page".

Ne Help at all? When i change the security settings on the (tools) buttonm, i can get as far as when its gunna download ShockWave......

hmm, i'm really out of ideas :(
we need IE buff in here...
you probably dont have permissions to download and install shockwave on that PC... are they using windows profiles? Is this PC windows 2000/NT or 9x/ME?
or are you saying you can download shockwave just not load any of the pages?
it sounds like they have some kind of IE profiles locked down fairly tight. considering how easy it is to exploit active X bugs, i'm not surprised....
they might have the install downloader turned off in the Advanced tab in IE. (Tools->Internet Options->Advanced->Enable Install on Demand)
You might also check your multimedia permissions under that tab as well if you can get to it...
you might also want to clear your IE cache out and close IE and restart it after you make these changes.
