even though TMyApp has spent 20 hours on the release (in the last 2 days), the forum will be flooded with bitching/complaining in half that time...

fix it.. FIX IT NOW !!!

how do i play my recording of a fight, i record it and everything, and it goes to the very begging of the fight but it just stays there... i even clicked the play button

Well, first of all, thank you TMyApp for all the hard work. I was waiting for you to start this topic so I didn't have to start individual topics about this....

These are only meant to inform, I am not trying to bitch in any way. None of these things NEED to be changed because they are all accessories.

Problems:
1. Lag post (prepare yourself): On my second fight in the new version, I had a fight with fear_tetsuo in which after his first super he kept making supers...(by this I mean IMEADIATLY after a super finished, another one began...if I hit him it only caused him to reset the supers.) On his side I was just not moving, but I account this all to lag. (more of a funny glitch that kept me from having ANY chance of winning than a TRUE PROBLEM). I also tried to record this but, as fate would have it, it seems thats not working for me either...yet.


2. Challenges: There is a problem with the challenges. ex: I enter a chat room and all of a sudden it says "KidKrazySh:biggrin:t has accepted your challenge, attempting to syncronize..."

3. New security feature: Don't know if you are going to answer my previous post, but I can't log on as Shinjuko because my password contains a space in it....Please just delete that account so I can create it over again.

Now that I have finished this there should be no reason for ANYONE else to bring these OLD issues back up. I appologize for the length of this post.

First of all, Tmyapp, thank for this great version
Now, I fought the second place champ, MVC2sucks, i beat him the first round, he beat me the second... now I beat him the third then when it said I won, a new round started and I still only had my first win!!!
then he beat me the mysteries magical FOURTH round and he got the win. I probably would have gotten alot of points for beating him. Please help or just tell me something, anything.

When me and 2000warrior faught again the same thing happened accept to the opposite person. While we were playing all of a sudden he shots a super and then continous supers kept coming out, no matter if i hit him with a helper they still kept coming out. Sadly neither me or 2000warrior got to record the match. :(

Well I recorded it, but it only shows me standing in the corner while fear_tetsuo's health goes down to nearly nothing. No "infinite supers". I think this is a hosting problem because others who fought fear_tetsuo complained about the same thing and I was hosting when this happened to him, and he was hosting when it happened to me.

This infinity super lag problem happened in previous versions, but I think TMyApp fixed. I wonder if he deleted his code or something.

Whenever I play a game, i can get on the chat server, but it says conn. lost you win in 2 secs. I changed my ip and everything and it still says that . Ill keep you updated if it changes.

Well TarkanX was right. Wolverine is a sprite on lag. I do attacks and he attacks me 0.1 seconds after. I do how many moves to pust him away and he never moves. PLEASE fix this lag time bomb. Also please add the words ROM and MAME to the BOTs list, because those people deserve to be kicked.

Okay, this is a problem regarding the recorded games. Mine work (the first slot never works, but the other four do), but there is a strange problem. I had the infinity super glitch yesterday when I fought Nferno666. We quit, and I had recorded it using the game. I checked back, and it did not show that the infinity super was being done. Rather, I twitched violently and died. After dying the lower half of my body (a second sprite) was standing there over my full body on the ground. If you'd like I can e-mail you the recorded game.

Umm, TMyApp you said Chun Li would be faster/improved. Nothing I could notice has happened. Two things that would help me out is Giving the Kiko Shou more priority and also, make the 1000 Kick thing end as a knock down. I do it and someone does a Shinkuu Hadouken while Chun Li has her knee up.

i already posted in the "new features" post about the new version,before i realized you had already started a "bitchiing post" for the new version.my bitch is....i receive the worst lag i have ever received with this new version.....lag so bad that it is pointless for me to even attempt to play.....lag entailing....infinit supers,teleportation so bad i cant track my opponent, and my opponents taking little to no damage.....basicaly anything that lag produces that you can imagine is now X10.....it's horrible :(
well any ways thats my bitch about the new version..our ol' friend LAG is back and with a vengence. :(

Well it is the lag that is hurting me, it is the fact that there are no knock downs. Also please put in an infinity time mode. Everytime I face Steven time runs out, it is probably, because we know which each other does. He jumps alot and I just dash under him, but stilll please install this.

TmyApp i'm on 56k and this infinity super thing has happened to me three times, resulting in me losing three times and giving points to people who haven't earned it. I hope you can fix this problem soon. People that delay your progress by fucking around should be banned, cause you shouldn't have to spend so much time on security feartures when you could be doing better things for the game.

Hi, i know the new version is great and all, but i am experiencing serious network problems. Every time i load my game the the bar goes 3/4 of a way through and suddenly disappears. And then all the graphics and stuff screws up. This has been going on for the past few days now. I disabled my firewall, cleared all my cookies and old files and tried everything. Nothing seems to work. I suggest you play the game yourself for sometime to experience some of the problems we deal. Hopefuly you can fix some of the bugs.

make sure to grab the l8test version of Shockwave from macromedia.com (the FAQ has all the details)

it also might help if you waited @ the loading screen unltil the game has finished loading, and/or, you dont see u'r modem blinking anymore....

side note, plz do NOT post same/similar bug reports one after another... if one person said they are seeing more lag in this ver, there is really no point of having 10 more people post "me too" afterwards... you CAN however post if u disagree (ie: someone reports a bug that is only on THEIR end)...

i've encountered numerous bugs.
First: I would start a fight, then the screen would freeze and suddenly, my opponent would have three win symbols, and i'm trying to figure out what the #### happened.
Second: infinite supers. i will say no more about it
Third: I would hit my opponent with something like two super hadokens in a row, and his health would not go down on EITHER screen, and he would say that the super hadoken never happened. ####, he even emailed me the exported fight, and it was totally different then the fight i recorded (i accidentally deleted the fight he emailed me, so i cannot post it)

please look into these problems when you get a chance. thx

All three of those are caused by lag... the pause is 'hyper' lag, where the person zips around suddenly on your screen. Infinite supers and no damage are obviously from lag. QUIT IT ABOUT LAG! Just sit at the bus stop to the promised land and be patient.

Dan, this thread is about problems caused by version 0.2q, and these lag problems didn't arise in the frequency that they do now until just recently. Therefore, it was a valid post
