anyway i wanted to ask
im running a tournement called main event its a 6 month tourney not a 1 day wonder and id like to no if you would be able to sort out a prize for the winner in 6 months time even if its just a tourney logo next to there name in forum or something

can you help mate

hah! thats exactly what i had in mind!
since its really hard to give prizes in tourneys but let me rephrase it for you....
how bout a special icon/avatar/badge for a tourney winner
or sumthing like a banner in the form of a trophy attached to your personal banner
we all know that in the military they have a special badge or medal
how bout sumthing like that :thumbsup:

well the tournement has alrdy started and i plan to launch the second one when it finishes the difference is anyone can join my tourney at any time as it is points rated not singular fights like most tourneys

but you would have known that if you bothered to look

lol i dont intend to make a little ass tourney that dies and fizzles after 1 match thats boaring theres too many off them

i have added you strider you can find your oppisition fighters list in ( the main event tourney starts today) under challenged and tournaments

ULT1MATEWAR321: You know... I really didn't want to do this, but I'm feeling borred and annoyed with all these low/no thought tournaments...

Here's why a 6 month tournament won't work:
- People who join will quit fighting and get borred/leave
- Most people who join your tournament will be ##### who fight once (or not at all), and after a few days... well see above :biggrin:
- Since it's opperated by points, it's not really based on who's the best fighter, it's based on who's got the most free time and who insists on hosting the most
- Since it's 6 months and anyone can join at any time, it's about the same as having a tournament based on the topscores
- Regaurdless of how many people sign up, the guys who own the topscores will be the highest laggers and people who won't accept not hosting
- You'll probably leave before 6 months time...

- Reffer to the topscores and the multiple topics about it for more into on this subject
- And something I forgot, but probably the most important part... as the game is constantly changing, there will be new and even "cheaper" characters then the two you've banned from this tournament, making it necessary to constantly change your rules every month to keep up the "fairness". Negligence of this fact only leads to bitching... actually doing something about it leads to more bitching. You're screwed either way.
