I'm sorry if you have heard this 100 times... - In hosting matches...

No one can join my chat. I have checked my IP, my internet, I am not on a router or behind a firewall, and this has only been happening for about a week, but it has made me mad...

Can you help me or is the problem on my end?

when u host a game whats ur ping cuz if it says zero then u gtta reload the game or smtin like that go to the faq it might help u there

Px: Yes I can join, I just can't host.

iTALY: It is not at zero, but around my normal of 20-50. I was able to host before at this ping rate, so I dont see why it shouldn't be working.

thats weird chek faq though it might help u or u can just ask tmyapp but thats a waste of time , he will just tell u to chek the faq ne wayz or mb smtin else u never kno :lol:

I also forgot to mention that for some reason, I can't challenge people to quick matches too. I have looked in the FAQs, front to back, back to front, and I still cant figure it out. I have tried using old conn. mode and firewall (i think they are the same thing though and i dont even have a firewall or proxy...)

skate919: the quick game points back to the 1st problem...

when you challenge someone it is same as hosting a game.. if it doesn't work, u are either:

1: behind a router
2: behind a firewall
3: behind a proxy
4: have SOMETHING that prevents u'r browser from "hosting" or accepting connections

how can u fix it ?? many ways really...

1st off, what type of programs do u have running in the background? do you have something like ZoneAlarm ?? Norton Personal Firewall ?? ... what about u'r browsers settings, is projectx.cyberfuturism.com added as a "secure" site?? (it might help)

now much else i can say.. there is SOMETHING thats preventing others from connecting to you....

If I am behind a proxy, why was I able to host before? Why all of the sudden can't I host them?

I have Norton Antivirus but that has never given me problems either.

something to do with u'r proxy settings?

the network code for the game hasn't changed in 4+ months...

try using the "old connection" mode though... or switching to a different port (21, 59222, 27015, etc)

I have hosted before, remember when I hosted that tag match when you were there, TMy? It hasn't worked for about that long.

I have given up on this problem. I figure that if it has worked before, it will work again. Thanks for trying to help anyway... :)
