Can't Play - I can't get in the game

The Game comes up and shows the front page news , I press OK. Then It Flashes in yellow and Stops. Why is this happening?

hmm... try waiting until the "loading" bar is full (not just until the "ok" button appears) ...

the game should work while it is loading for MOST people, but, for the selected few, they just have to wait...

... clearing your cache and reinstalling the Shockwave plugin might help as well (the FAQ tells you how to do that)

this is sort of off topic but... sometimes when i'm at the loading screen, the front news page, doesn't come up and the game just skips to the introduction. does that just happen to me?

probably not...

for some reason the game couldn't reach the "news" server in time, and since you were ready to play the game (or @least enter the chat)... it just skips forward...

after all, if for some reason the "news server" goes down for a few hours, do you really want to be stuck @ the loading screen 4 ever ?? :biggrin:

when i press start game and select a server i am unable to enter the game i've checked the options and network

Or do what I do, but a quater in your A: drive each time you play.

Now I can't see hosted games!

thats pretty weird, i dont know whats wrong with your computer/connection. does it happen often? it might just be that there were no hosted games right then

... someone needs to reinstall Shockwave/IE and/or Windows :biggrin:

.. well.. maybe not.. still... clear cache and restarting helps most people... other than that.. i don't have any other ideas :(
