simple..

I beat Ramziel, and was supposed to play in the finals, but on a stupid technicallity TarkanX got DQ'ed. I wasn't about to change the rules if Tantum didn't want me too...

HOWEVER..

I can do whatever I want with my spot in the finals. I decided to fight TarkanX for it, and he beat me...

Thats how he ended up there.

If you dont want to fight him thats your choice Tantum.
Im not going to force you to fight (I dont have that kind of power :biggrin:).
But TarkanX isn't getting off that easily either. He will have to earn that Championship.

Its funny that you did this Tantum, because all that will happen is that I'll insert myself into the finals and fight him. It'll be as if you had lost to him.

Not cool man...You got to the finals, and then you just threw in the towel. I said this to you before, and I'll say it again. I did not want my tournament win to be clouded by the fact that TarkanX got disqualified for sending an email 2 hrs late. I thought you would see it the same way.

You are intitled to your opinion Tantum, and I respect it. If you feel that strongly about it, then I will respect your wishes. You have been withdrawn.

Hopefully you'll enter the next tournament, and I'll make sure this does not happen again!

you cant just change the rules of the tournament mid tournament..... there is no rule that says you can choose to fight someone for your spot in the finals

cause if that much was true, i'd say put Stinkyman in my spot, the guy who always get high score cause of his 14.4k modem... dude, that is bullshit, and i bet Cyris, and TMy would agree... and dont say, its not up to them, cause its an official tournament, and someone is getting an official prize, you cant change rules at the finals.

it seems to me that the problem is...did TarkanX send his e-mail 2 hrs late?or did Zing79 check his E-mail 2 hr's late...if Tarks e-mail was sent 2hr's late then he should have been DQ'd,and not allowed to enter the Tournament...failure to comply with Tournament Rules..(no offense Tark).

Now if Zing received the mail 2 hr's late...but the mail was dated in time for the dead line..then by all means TarkanX should be allowed to fight in the tourny...Does TmyApp have copies of all the e-mail received for the tournament?That could be a big deciding factor in this issue...his officail judgement is terribly needed on this topic

now if TarkanX's e-amil was sent late...then all his matchs where illegal...and the whole Tourny was for not....and no prize should be given out..and the Tournament should be rescheduled for a later date.

Tantum...quiting shows no honor...you are an exceptional fighter....fight to the end regard less of the odds or situation..you have been dealt an odd hand...but you still have a chance for a unique prize...why quit?

Tantum I didn't change a single rule my friend
TarkanX WAS disqualified as per the rules, and you advanced into the finals.

HOWEVER...take note of the last rule that says any other disputes will be mediated by me. That rule was inserted for situations just like this. I CANNOT, nor did I try and change the rules to make you fight TarkanX. I went by exactly what they said. He was late with his email, and you refused to fight him as a result. The rules stated I had to DQ him, and I did exactly that.

But that last rule allows me to do EXACTLY what I did with my tournament spot.

I made a judgement call with TarkanX. He explained his situation to me, and I reacted accordingly.

But if you feel that TMyApp, and Lordcyris will agree with you, then post it in the problems forum where I know TMyApp will see it. Make sure you quote this message, and post your point. IF they agree with you, I will side with what you say.

zing is the main man here and what he does is out of my hands i wouldnt jump into his turf like that it wouldnt be right. but i do have an opinion (hehe i have many)

but the point is out of what i have read zing did not alter the rules for his personal gain he runs the show hes the man all i can say

And honestly Tantum, your not looking at this from my perspective..

I *RUN* this tournament. You don't think it would look rather fishy that I made it to the finals, and then *I* disqualified TarkanX? (one of the few players who can actually play with me)

I have to keep everybody happy, not just you my friend. I have a reputation to watch out for. I can't just get rid of TarkanX because he sent you an email 2 hrs late (especially since I knew he couldn't get near his comp until he sent you that email). There's no way ppl would stand for that. Hes to big a figure in this game for that to just be excepted.

I had to make a decision that was fair to the both of you, and the ppl who play this game. I made that decision at my own expense. If anyone should be angry its me. Im the one you earned his way to the finals only to have to give it up.

Anyway....you have 2 choices.
I expect you both to play your match by the end of today.
If you refuse to play him, then I'll just simple eliminate you.

Its your choice my man...but honestly just play him and take your chances :biggrin:

Funny you didnt say jack when BadestBadtz got DQ'd and he's one of the best also... it seems more like your being choosy who to give a second chance to. and being a tournament conductor, thats the wrong thing to do. and if you lost to tarkan, how do you take my spot if i resign? your just making it up as you go along.

No offence, but Zing79 is being bias. Tantum = Champion, Zing79 in my book he is the champ. I don't know where he came from, but if TarkanX gets a second chance so should I and everybody else who got DQ.

TarkanX ***SENT****his email, but he did it 2 hrs late because he ***COULD NOT*** get to a computer until that time.

He emailed me tellling me that, he went looking for me in the chat to tell te me that, why don't you ask any of those other ppl if they did that.

And selvin where the FUCK do you see that Tantum=Champ. I guess its not ok if TarkanX has to fight him in the finals...but it is OK if Tantum DOESNT FIGHT me in the finals (remember thats my spot Tarkan is coming in from!)

It was simple, if you actually showed up to play, then I would try my best to make something happen. If you did nothing (Badest, Selvin) about it, and didn't really give a shit, then I responded the same way.

Does anybody not see that Tantum is being a pussy here? He had TarkanX DQ'ed by 2 hrs. I run the F'N tournament and I stayed up until 5am the day after to fight guys who had missed the deadline against me.

And one last thing Tantum..By all rights you shouldn't even be in the finals...you never played your 3rd round match against AA...you also sent me nothing telling me if you had done so or not...by the very same rules your beating me over the head with you should have been DQ'ed. Yet you are sitting here in the finals right now..

Tell me about second chances now?

you no what i think what zing did was the right thing cause i know that tarkan tried to contact him before the deadline buthe couldn't find him. If tarkan ws dq'd then tantum would still lose to zing.I got screwed in the tourney but u don't hear me crying about it in the forum so just fight tark and get it ver with cause your just trying to be a pussy cause u no u can't beat him and u would beat zing either so u wouldn't wn the tourney anyway.

I'm tired of explaining myself to ppl who wont listen...You can take whatever side you want in this, I really dont give a shit.

All of you guys who are taking Tantum's side need to ask yourself ONE question. How exactly did I screw Tantum?

He was supposed to fight TarkanX in the semi-finals, Tarkan didn't meet the deadlines, and Tantum refused to give him a grace period, and per the rules TarkanX was disqualified, and Tantum moved on to the finals...and btw ask yourself why your hero didn't give him a grace period, because I KNOW alot of you didn't meet the deadlines, and still played your matches...

So lets see how Tantum got screwed...he ends up in the finals, and last time I checked if he had beated TarkanX he would have ended up...wait for it...IN THE FINALS!

So nothing changed for him...He still ended up in the finals.

What went on happened with MY spot, not his. Tantum was supposed to fight me in the finals, but I ended up fighting TarkanX for the spot and he beat me.
That simple...

And im tired of arguing with you Tantum...either you play your F'N match be the end of Saturday with TarkanX for the championship, or I DQ you!

At this point your the one holding up the #### tournament!

No more waiting, if your to much of a pussy to fight him, thats your deal..

How would i be the underdog in me vs you zing? our current standings are 13:12, me on top by 1, and thats only cause you got most of your wins on me recently on me when you were multitasking. and how would i be the underdog vs Tarkan? we never fought each other before... its his fault he was too late, plain and simple, i woulda fought his ass if he e-mailed me by 5... who's problem? his, not mine... the match is supposed to be me and you Zing, not me and Tarkan, you are in the Finals, that insertion shit was fine for 1st and second round DQ's, but Tarkan sure knew he could get DQ'd and thats his problem, he shoulda known better, he never e-mailed me the night before saying, i cant use the computer til later tomorrow, i'll e-mail you 7ish. if he is such a good champion, he should act like one, and not a little cry baby, run to zing, oh , oh... plz give me another shot im gonna quit unless you do, i cant lose like this. well screw that, either you fight me like your supposed to, or Tarkan can win like a little bitch.

im not sure wat to say...i mean...it is zing's tourney.... i dont think wat he did is wrong...he beat me fair and square and of course lag helped him but it also probly helped me...i dont know about them standards though tantum bc i have fought u and i dont remember when u ever whooped my butt that is when u did win...so either way why not just suck up ur pride and go out like a warrior out in the midst of battle?

Your making assumptions, that NEVER happened. TarkanX never came running to me. Once I found out what happened, *I* went and made the decision. He was quite happy to let you advance. *I* however am not prepared to see him go out like that. This is a no lose situation, because if I DQ'ed him and won this tournament, this entire converstation would still be here, except it would be about how I set up the tournament for me to win.

If it comes down to a conversation about how I wouldn't let the top player in the game get DQ'ed that easily, or a conversation about me riging the tournament, I'll take this anyday!

and what the #### are you talking about multitasking?
I have DSL, I could multitask until I bleed and still not take up enough bandwidth to effect the game! You lost all those matches because you left, and while you were gone I got WAY better then I was when you left.

But again...less argue...more match..
Im not kiding when i say you have till the end of tonight to fight that match with him...DO NOT TEST ME!

As far as my rank...take note of the fact I haven't fought a match in 5 days. NOT ONE!

once again your still wrong..I have a 1.4 ghz athlon, with 512 megs of ram...Do you really think I can't multitask that till I bleed without it affecting my gameplay?

its becoming a grudge Tantum, because your not listening to me...Try looking at it from my perspective, I have to do whatever it takes to maintain the integrity of the tournament. I was not, nor am I prepared to DQ the top player in the game, and then risk having it backfire on me.

This entire post would be happening right now if I had DQ'ed him...except it would be about how I set up the tournament so "2 friends could end up in the finals".

You need to get off my back, and remember 3 things.
1. I screwed you over in no way
2. I did what I did because I HAD to.
3. The rules say I could decide to do anything else that wasn't covered in the rules on my own, WITHOUT a debate!

So just realize that this is the way it has to be to maintain the integrity of the tournament, and go out that and play him.

Like I said, the choice is yours. But you have until the end of tonight to get your match in before I'm forced to do something about it...I WANT a champion crowned by the end of Sunday. Its that simple

SO play him already...your not playing me for the championship...accept that and move on.

In the end im the one who would have any right to complain (seeying as how its my spot that he bumped me out of), and Im not.
