Why can I still not get into v4.0a - My head's going to explode!!!!!

Well, I was hoping someone else would make this topic before me... Its never taken this long to download a new version...and I don't know if anyone else is having this problem or not. I've clicked relaod and F5 countless times. I've closed the window and reopened it almost as many. I've closed and reloaded http://projectx.cyberfuturism.com/ many times also. I've checked the FAQ at least 10 times by now. I've tried the netscape hook up lots of times. I've gotten off line and got back on at least 10 times tonight. I've restarted my computer several times. I've even tried to get some sleep on it, but it all turns out the same. It always says "WARNING This is an OLD version of the game..." I wanna fight with sentinel too! Anyone with suggestions, please post them.

Have you tried clearing out your cache yet?

That's what I've been trying to do this whole time. Why do you think I constantly keep hitting reload, F5 and closing the window? If there is some "clear cache" command that you know about, please tell me and I'll try that too.

Go to your "Internet Properties(tools)" Then hit "delete files" That SHOULD do it.

Jr.: I don't have ie...I have aol. There is not Internet Properies at the top, nor is there tools.

Edit: Okay, I just right clicked and clicked on refresh, which is working!!!!! :) :) :) :) :)

Jr.: Thanks for mentioning internet properties on top. If I hadn't been looking for that I may never have found this refresh thing...

then can you tell me were the refresh is all I can find is reload and it isn't doing jack and the link TMy left told me to download the new macromedia but it just keeps saying "Network error" "please check your internet connection and try again" someone please help me! it's giveing me a migrain!

Right click on the boarder of the game (because it doesn't work right on it). Then click on Refresh, it should be right under print.

heh heh heh eh heh -_-; Thanks 2000warrior but it turns out it was realy a problem with my shockwave it got fried during the tunder storm that was going on so it wouldn't let me upgrade to the newer version. Oh yeah almost forgot to anyone else with this problem just go to the search file or folders option on the start up menue and search history it's were all the old internet information you viewed from the past few weeks is stored and go in there and delete all the old version files then it should work :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) sorry I'm just so happy now! well I'm off to kick some @$$!
