Stupid problem - Stupid ie

okay this is happening everytime i play now. whenever i play in a tag match and i tag my partner. this f*ckin message always comes up telling me that i have to close my internet explorer cause it encountered an error and asks me to send a report to microsoft or something. wtf is going on! i've had to back out of so many fights cause of this stupid tag problem. i'm too scared now to even tag cause of this stupid glitch.

it is a browser problem (not the game)

clear u'r cache, re-install Shockwave, and restart your computer (the FAQ has all the info)

if that doesn't help (most of the time it does) upgrade/re-install your browser (i assume it's IE)...

if THAT doesn't help... u'll prob have to switch to Netscape (or some other non-standard browser)

i get that error report thing wen i start the internet up...but i just put it down to the bottom and ignore it...

WHAT! you mean i have to redownload internet explorer 6! omg, you have no idea how friggin long that takes. just curious, how do you know that it's a problem with my IE? have you encountered the problem before? just curious, that's all.

heh... yep

i see similar problems on my "test" machine all the time.... also, since none of the other 25,000 user per week complain about the problem... i know it is just u'r end :(

and since the game is Shockwave + IE + other crap ... (plus the knowledge from my "test machine") ... i can tell u that 99% of the time, reinstalling those two fixes the problem :biggrin:

.. then again.. it could be u'r OS that needs to be "reinstalled" (and thats never a good news)

okay, it could be problem with my computer, but how come this problem message NEVER appears when i do other stuff with shockwave.

Heh....that Illegal operation pop up thing really pisses me off too....but it only happens when I try to log into a server...should this be the time I reformat my computer? ???

yeah that happens... u know what...
NEVER move ur mouse when u first go in the chat,
wait till the usernames and chatting shows up
then it wont give u the error
(the ghetto way :D )
