Ok, is there any way to raise my fps at all? Is there a program I could download to help raise my fps or is there something I could do to my computer to raise my fps? Because I am getting around 9, on a very good day 11 fps while I play. Is there a way of getting my fps to 35 again?

upgrade your comp, or just buy a new one.

make sure that the game background is turned "off" in the options menu... also, try running the game in a smaller/standard window...

other than that? ... type "/fps" in the console (game chat).. anything between 12-15fps is a pure min for the game... anything above that is "good"...

I run the window at the default size, and i turn the sound and backround off and still only get around 9 fps. ####, cause before 4 player i ran at about 34 fps, ever since its been bout 9. Well hopefully something comes around, in the mean time i will be looking for programs or anything that might raise it up to atleast 20.

Ugh, still no luck in trying to get my fps higher. I have tried everything from cleaning my computer, freeing up ram and memory, d/l programs to try to increase fps but no luck.:( Hopefully when new versions of this game are implemented, my fps will graually get higher. But until then I am stuck at 9 fps..... :( (34fps, was it only a dream?)

well fear... i can tell u one thing right now.. this game will NOT get any faster :( .. it will get slower.. thats 4 sure

why ?? simple... new effects... new options... sounds.. music.. etc etc etc...

1 on 1 (no tag) games should give you the best performance (again, background/shadows off, and no music)... with a 4 player game... thats four times as much info to process...

then, there are different chars... SF and X-Men... someone like Ryu has 1/2 the frames of Logan or Sentinel... thus, X-Men require more cpu power :(

.. i've tested this game on a crappy p500 Dell notebook, witha' ATI Rage Pro card... and there was ZERO slowdown with ALL of the graphix/effects set to "on"...

any box above those specs should have no problems with the game... and while re-installing (or "cleaning") windows MAY help the problem a bit... the key to this game is still hardware...

but.. u'r right.. 9fps is VERY low :(

sentinal is not in the original Xmen vs Street Fighter game

sentinal is temporarily right?

in my opinion yes sentinal is good but i would like to use iceman in the future
sentinal brings way too much lag

Tmyapp, would the amount of space left on the C drive effect the fps at all?

DX Zero
