I got kicked out of a game when I (my partner wouldn't move and he died) was winning. I went to the chat room, went into another game, but when it loaded, I was brought to the character select screen with the same players that were in the game before.

So in the next game, I get hit alot, so I tag. My partner attacks alot, but then he just stands there. He's taking no damage at all, even if the other team would attack him. We win, but it says "Cheat or error detected. Scores not recorded." I assume he cheated.

Anyway, the 1st pargraph is really what I was going to say, but I just had to write more.

well.. the "cheat detected" means "a cheat was detected on YOUR end, or there was an 'error'..." ... in this case however, it sounds like you just needed to restart your browser to fix the problem

what i consider a "cheat" and what you consider a "cheat" are probably different.... my official statement is still: you can't cheat in XvsSF (because we have encryption, various "cheat checks", etc, etc, etc...).

i'm not going to get into detail (ever) of how the cheat-detection system works (for obvious reasons).. but, as an example... if you play "yourself" in a match, that counts as a "cheat" and the scores will not be submited...

i HATE playing people that use cheats, because you know that you can beat them but they use a cheat and cream you. Once i was playing this guy, and i kept hitting him over and over again and it did no damage at all, before iknew it i was wasted and he had a perfect!

yeah.. thats NOT cheating... just extreme Lag...

.. you can't cheat in the game... we have 128 bit encryption to make sure that all games are fair...
