Dl version not working? - Well mines not any tips?

[color=#FF0000:post_uid9]ok heres the deal... my DL version of the game is craping out on me. and what i mean by that is that when i start it up u know i see venom and blanka then i skip the intro ... then i log in... then i check the top scores... then i change my options.. ya know every thing is fine... then when i go to a chat sever EX: dawn of rage the program automaticly closes out or stops responding... now i've had the DL version for a while and this hasnt happend un till last week like 2 or 3 days after 1.2d was up. and ive actually deleted every thing i mean all of it then re-downloading the whole program again but the same thing happens... ??? any one got a clue to whats happening?[/color:post_uid9]

I would recomend some tips for you but i am in the same position you are in... for some reason i can't fight in 2 on 2 tag, 1 on 2 tag, 1 on 1 tag matches because every time when i win.... i lose and when i lose...... i lose!! this is very serious :blues:

Well... you can try cleaning your cache, go to "tools", then "internet options", click in the "delete files" button, and then restart your computer.. if a message comes about "delete offline content", check the box and hit ok.. (note: do all these things in Internet Explorer)

You can also, don't set your options and setting so fast.. sometimes when I set my options fast, it stops responding.. and like you say, "closes out" itself.

DarkKidbuu: Make sure you have helpers on when ur hosting.. because if you don't, your win will be a loss.. but maybe your win will still count as a loss due to the bug thats in tag games.. I suggest you start playing 1on1 games :biggrin:

Basically, closing the game and restarting the game... or your computer should solve this problem. The Downloaded version of the game has nothing to do with offline content saved on ur HD so deleting offline contents while clearing ur cache is not that necessary.

If the game keeps on freezing, just redownloading the files. I sometimes have that problem when playing the downloaded version of the game. It's not that serious... just reload the game. More often than not, it should run perfectly :biggrin:

Yea i guess so but i would like to give props to Bob for giving me that advice man it really worked Finnally i can get to work on my Ranking :cool: and the only reason i use the downloadable version is because i have Dial-up connection ppl with Cable modems or DSl can load the web version quickly
