ummm...from a viewers point of veiw, make the whole banner dark like the top and the bottom or make it light like the middle, just choose one shade instead of making dark, light, dark

wow, good work if its your second tag, but, a couple of pointers...
1. the tag is far too dark for my liking :biggrin:
try balance out the colours, use light blue, sky blue and dark blue, shadows and highlights and it should help get the effect you wish
2. i don't like the tab bar thing , what you could do is create a mini one on a side and place yout typo there
