Nice attempt man :D Even tho that not your best work but if you like it who care about someone said, it only matter what you thinks. :D

TIP/COMMENT: Add some border and blend the BG. Don't radial blur too much. And use some brush so it looks better. Use line brush and make line in the bg.

Obviously he cares what everyone thinks because he's asking for tips? Anyway build on your background and try to colourize strider so that he can match the background as close as you can.
