@the tag - the bg is too plain because it justs consists of a lens flare and thats all. try using some downloaded brush for a start. you can download them at DeviantArt , the location of the brushes is up to you to find it.

um the banner is good but its plain but since you are trying things with photoshop its good so fsar ust try to make the typo better and get a better and bigger pic or put that ken in a crazy looking backround
