View Full Version : Possible firewall issue. - Yeh.

My box is behind a router, and being the complete n00b that I am, I'm not sure how to configure it as to allow me to play the game correctly.

Currently my problems are:
.Cannot register a username
.Cannot host a game (does not make it past "Sync" message)
.Cannot join a game (no response after clicking "Yes")

I know the problem is on my side, as I've read the FAQ and waded thru the posts in this forum.
BTW: The router is a Broadband Router ADR-E200P, configureable thru an HTML interface, so I can't do any fancy telnet configuring.

can you connect to any of the chat channels ??

ok.. then you can probably use ports 1626, 59222 and/or 27015

SO.. change your port (in options) to one of them, and, let OTHERS challenge you (dont challenge them)

when they do challenge you, ask them to use one of those ports (a button will appear if both of your ports are different)

Hahaha, you wear CLOTHES? I was playing nude to begin with, that can't be the problem.

but, until then, u can always play as "Player" without the need to register...
