I'm not very good at making banners mainly because i don't know how to make nice backgrounds. So after observing some of the your signatures i was wondering if you could share your expertisse. So could any of you adobe photoshop pros tell me how to make nice backgrounds? You can post it here or u can pm/email me.

well its kinda hard to explain..

here i can give u a background

just right click it and click save picture as and download it :) and then u can stick whatever pics u want on it.

I managed to make a banner with adobe phtoshop. Its a little plain i need some devil may cry pictures. So here it is rate it and before u give it 1/10 bear the thought that i'm only an amateur when it comes to banners.

Heres a great TIP: Start out with a transparent background...click on filter, render, clouds/difference clouds...then use image, auto level, then levels (to change the color to make it look like electric)...then use some filters on it such as ripple, gaussian blur, then just play around from there..you should come up with a pretty cool background.

Also try using the airbrush tool...makes great effects.

sooo lemme get this strait...if youdont have adobe photoshop thingy then there's no way u can make a banner?? Cuz i wanna banner but i aint got it. damn :(

Well u could make a really crappy one in paint, but if youwanna make a banner seriously i would advise u to get adobe phtoshop.
