@ elena...i read the whole Quran..very strong and complleing book and never...ever..promotes violence or ANY harm to AHYTHING.. i dont think Malcom X promoted violence...it was actually the other way around...he was the one that was getting shot and killed by his own old friends

When people are burning down your house, shooting your brothers, threatening your life, and threatening the life at your family, there is no other option.

It wasn't "equality, please", it was "equality at any means neccessary".

Jail is better, i think. bums get beaten and abused in shelters and on the street. Atleast in jail you got shelter and meals AND a doctor to check you out. In jail you have opportunities to learn and when you get out they find you a place to live and a job. When your a bum no one cares enough to hire you or give you a chance.

I'd have to say jail.

In jail, I would eat healthier, work harder, and read more simply because of the life style jail inforces. They make you work, they make you eat a solid meal, and with all that spare time you'd just have to pick up a book. That's why there are those that come out of prison knowing the Bible inside and out.

Don't get me wrong, jail would suck. but atleast we would get something accomplished and learn something.
