Greetings people. Some of you I know, some of you are hearing of me for the first time. Regardless, this is a topic for asking me questions.

Now I don't want to hear about why your password hasn't been changed yet or why you can't post yet. Those kinds of posts are for the Moderator PM's (http://nferno666.sytes.net/cgi-bin/ikonboard.pl?act=SF;f=25) forum. Other than that, you can ask me pretty much anything.

Be warned though, the questions you ask may not recieve the answers you are looking for.

Secondly, the third law of motion is not f = ma.. F = ma is the 2nd law of motion... and fyi, that's the basic principle in which other equations of motion are built on and the reason you don't fall down when running on surfaces with less friction. :biggrin:

Good thing you said you might have answers.. cause the third dimension in the rectangular co ordinate system is the z axis.. and if a function is termed z, with the variables x and y, then the tangent to that function is always will be parrallel to the z plane.. no matter what value of x you take :biggrin: ... I know... I pwn.

The electric field in a shell that happens to be a conductor is 0 .. because all the charges in a conductor migrate to the surface of the conductor. If the electric field point is inside the shell, the Guassian surface will be a circle with radius p.. having all the charges at the surface would mean that the enclosed amount of charge would be zero.. thus the Electric field is 0. :biggrin:

FYI, f(x,y) COULD mean anything. X²+X+Y² will not be a strait line by any strecth of the imagination. Nor would X^2+Y. The fact that it is parallel to the z plane (or third dimension) is irrelevant and will only "appear" as a strait line if you gaze upon it directly on a 2 dimensional plane showing z and either x or y while ignore the other dimension.

Thirdly, the question was z = f(x, y) .. And that's why no matter what the x and y might mean, as long as they're equated to z, the tangent of that line must be parallel to the third dimension. :biggrin: .. And the question was about the tangent of that line.. Tangents are always straight line.

This is the last thing I'm going to say about your "out of the text book" questions (and yes, they ARE just that). No more of them in here... post them all you want to in Random Insanity, but quit trying to show off how damn smart you look reciting stuff out of your text books. Anyone can do that, it only serves to annoy. They are BEYOND stupid and even further beyond pointless.

As for your question, well the original xvssf came out in.. 1997 was it? or earlier? Back then, we still didn't even have a dreamcast out.. much less many of these bleeding fighting games (via mortal kombat). But then Capcom and marve| games have never had (and still don't have) blood for any games I can remember.

Vash-X: I have a router, and I'm not hosting. Know why? Because first you have to get your isp providers to set up static ip address for you computer. 2nd, whenever people are joining your server or staying on/fighting on it, that'll consume some of your bandwidth, which can make your internet traveling REALLY slow, hence making you need another phone line just to be able to do anything on the internet (not to mention a whole nother computer). Now, both of those cost a pretty penny, and when you sign up for them, you're expected to keep them for a long time (at least a year), so unless you're willing to pay for it, you probably can't host a server.
