i like the dbgt debates i started one way back long time go when i first joined in sept. what was it called again ohh i remember "what are all the levels of super saiyan" i was just a kid who like db and didnt know much bout all that stuff im just happy therell be 64 extra episodes. it seems like a good story with the evil shenlong sounds interesting and goku and vegetas great great great grandsons go in a bettle on the last episode in the wt

as for what i learned, only the BEBI SAGA is actually good !
a charcater actually weaker then a human but with much cooler powers ! (he posess peoples)

for what i heard and saw about the GT SERIES, it really is a big disappointment what AKIRA did !

and yugi... if you had to sell the rights to someone else, would you still make you it is good ?
its not about the charcaters yugi, its all about the story which AKIRA didn't participate in !
he only APPROVED (not drawed) the charcaters !

i think the charcaters are true to their natures, but the story just doesn't fit or go with his ancestors DB/DBZ !

This is for all of you that THINK you know about GT:

A little while after the last episode of DragonballZ was aired, Bandai approached Toriyama asking him to become a consultant on a project called Dragonball GT. He became a consultant, but ALL of his suggestions were ignored, and most of what he said was overruled by the execs at Bandai. Toriyama also drew one picture: of the robot Gill, which was then taken and thrown into GT.

GT is a 64-episode piece of crap. EVERYTHING in it contradicts what Toriyama previously wrote down in the mangas, and many of them are ridiculous (Vegeta going SL4 with use of a laser beam?)

I'll also take this time to clear up something: There is NO SSJ4. There is, however, a SL4. Let me explain:

The form in which Goku and Vegeta grow pink/red fur, hair grows longer and black, and eyes turn yellow, that's NOT SSJ4. It's called "Super Level 4" or SL4 (EX: Super Goku 4, Super Vegeta 4, Super Gogeta 4). ALL Super Saiya-jin levels have the following in common:

Super Saiya-jin
blonde hair, turquoise eyes, increase in power and speed

Super Saiya-jin Dai Ni Dankai (USSJ1)
blonde hair, turquoise eyes, increase in pwoer and speed

Super Saiya-jin Dai San Dankai (USSJ2)
blonde hair, turquoise eyes, increase in power, decrease of speed

Super Saiya-jin Full Power
blonde hair, turquoise eyes, increase in power and speed

Super Saiya-jin 2
blonde hair, turquoise eyes, increase in power and speed

Super Saiya-jin 3
blonde hair, turquoise eyes, increase in power and speed

Now, this "Super Level 4", on the other hand, has black hair, not blonde. Yellow eyes, not turquoise. Therefore, it's not a SSJ form, but merely a very small, very compact Ozouru form (Ozouru = big monkey). Some ppl say "well, it's not the same type of SSJ as SSj1, SSj2 and SSj3, because SSj4 is the TRUE SSJ." If that was the case, then HOW THE HELL DO YOU JUSTIFY VEGETA REACHING WHAT SOME PPL THINK IS A TRUE SSJ FORM WITH....A LASER BEAM? It's the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen, and it adds to the disgracefullness of GT.

GT = ####. The only thing I liked about it was the, "Dan Dan," theme song, which will probably be dropped for something related to heavy metal or some #### like that, rendering the show unwatchable for me period.

Joe forgot something. The true form of the Super Saiyan is an ACTUAL Oozaru (if a Saiyan still has his tail when he hits Super Saiyan, he grows into a big Oozaru and has no control over himself), NOT A SUPER LEVEL 4 MIDGET WITH HAIR ALL OVER HIMSELF!

Joe's studied for almost 3 years, but I myself have studied since 1996 when I first heard about it!

And Dan, the TRUE SSj is a normal Ozouru, but with gold fur. Not that mutilated Gold Ozouru in GT with the hair of a SSJ2, that looks gay as hell. And it was never stated that you need to have a tail and go SSJ, that's just popular rumor. There's no telling what the requirement is for the TRUE SSj. My guess is your birth has to coincide with the "every 1,000 years" legend

I didn't get the internet until two years ago. I started watching the show back in 7th grade. Then in 9th grade I became a fan of the late planetnamek.com. I got a bunch of useful information there, but most of it was shiznit. Then my friend (in 10th grade) downloaded and burnt me all of the episodes of DBZ on CDs, from the point in time where Goku goes SSJ all the way through the end of DBZ. He also got me GT (which I watched a bit of). Then a friend of mine got me some VHS tapes of DBZ movies #5-13, and the Bardock and Trunks specials (all japanese, english subbed). After I saw GT, I did a bit of research to find out 1) why it was so short (only 64 episodes) and 2) why it sucked so badly. That's where I discovered that AT didn't make it, and understood the suckiness of it. That was all back in my 10th grade. Then I got the internet that summer and got a few more tidbits of info. Then just within the past few weeks, I finally downloaded 97.3% of the DBZ manga to my computer, and now I pretty much know EVERYTHING about it.

people, 7 years is nothing when you consider Dragonball (manga) were first created about 13 or 14 years ago maybe even older ! in about 1990... don't believe me ? well the very first game that was created was on the old nintendo and was a total disappointment ! i'm talking about the adventure one like ZELDA not those AWSOME RPGs !

well... i agree on one thing... that's true that from what i heard, the story was pretty much bullpoop except perhaps some part of it. but men... the story isn't even worth seeing except perhaps the BEBI saga which seems to be good ! but still, i saw some of the fights ! sorry but that still isn't on the caliber of DB/Z which i think the fights are awsome !

example:
a certain creatures is standing in the air, goku is [TELEPORTING] while doing a kamehameha and he does it like 20x times in a row at random locations, the creature... (eye closed) suddently blast behind him which is exactly where goku was coming at to fire is blast ! sorry but no one even if he could read mind can know exatcly where someone is going while teleporting ! that was so stupid !

that's only one point where i couldn't believe the damn thing !
in GT there fighting like anyone at that stage could simply push a spirit bomb aside ! which i think the energy levels were already high enough at the end of DBZ, how could they go even higher then their maximum is something i would rather have not seen !

Princevegetam: Let me put it this way: I'm not OBSESSED with DBZ. I'm a big fan of it. I study it. The same way that 90% of all guys who watch football study IT: they totally immerse themselves in it.

Karma: Toriyama began writing the "Dragonball" manga in 1985, and finished in I think 1988. He then took seven years creating the "Dragonball" and "Dragonball Z" animes. And although even TRYING to guess powerlevels for GT is IMPOSSIBLE, I can say that if we could do powerlevels, they'd be in the high billions. VERY high billions.

after i heard about gt and made this topic i did 14 straight hours of gt research and i found a decent site for it. i seen it the story sucks. im still gonna watch the show you guys did all that research and didnt even know whan the manga came out it was jan. 1986 DURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR u guys i dont like dbgt but im gonna watch it in english to see and i know none of you have actually seen all the shows in english.

I NEVER THOUGHT S4 WAS AN SSJ LVL.

its easy to figure out that it wasnt a ssj they have too be an uzaru to go s4 if you notice its not a compact uzaru though its stronger than an uzaru most peeps should know when saiyans go uzaru theryre ki lvl gows up 10x it gets even higher as s4.

First off, Golden Ozouru is not the same as regular Ozouru. In the REAL DBZ storyline, Golden Ozouru is the TRUE Super Saiya-jin.

And SL4 is NOT stronger than Golden Ozouru. It's the same power, just in a more compact form.
