Blade vs dante - 2 great ass kickin supernatural beings

im sick of all these lame vs threads so i decided that i will make one. this one is called blade vs dante. blade is the half human half vampire from his movie and comics. he slays vampires. while dante is a half human half demon who slays any type of supernatural being wether it be demon, ghost, or vampire.

The facts of blade

blade is half vampire. he has all of the vampires strenght but non of their weaknesses. this enables him to do some mad tight stuff. he has great strength and good speed. his weapons are great for stopping his foes. he has really great martial arts skillz and can kick anybodys ass with them. he also has some swordsmanship skillz. his attitude towards everything is tight. he only laughs or smilez if he knows you are gonna get killed by him. this man also enjoys killing vampires.

The facts of dante

dante is half demon. this enables him to do some mad tight stuff too. he as ok strenght but has incredable speed and agility. this enables him to run on walls, double jump, hoover while he is shooting. as from what i can see he as some martial arts training but his true ability is his sword. his father *the great demon sparda* taught him how to use a sword. and if u played devil may cry 1 and 2 you know the type of skillz im talkn bout. he relys on his 2 trusty revolvers for dual fisted action and has great ability with his shot gun. dantes attitude and personality is tight. he does a lot of trash talkn and at times he is cold as ice.

Winner in my opinion, DANTE

i think dante would beat blade because of his agility and swordsmanship skillz. although dante lacks the martail arts skillz and killer strenght that blade has he is still a deadly advisary. dante doesnt rely too much on fancy weapons. he just uses his revolvers and his shotgun. all though what sets blade apart from dante is that blade can regenerate himself. just by merly drinking blood or taking his serum. dante on the other hand can transform into his devil form. in this form he is more powerful, is able to move a hell of a lot faster, has the ability to fly, and he as the ability to use elemental attacks. so basically in a fight id say that dante would win.

I'am going with Dante..cuz he looks way cooler, and has way better moves...beside Devil May Cry is much better than Blade..

well in the first blade movie Blade had to fight Decon Frost who also had amazing agility and speed so i dont see how that would help Donte...then again i have no idea what Devil May Cry is so maybe i should stay out of this debate ???

i agree i think dante is the best he can regenerate as well with devil trigger and is way cooler. He is also much more durable becos in dmc 1 he gets stabbed to te ground by an electric sword (alastor) and gets up. He does have super strength 2 becos he can send enemys flying who takes 100's of shots from a normal gun to kill. He also does know martial arts because in dmc 1 he has his flame gauntlets and if u throw his sword he can punch and kick enemys and dmc 2 he can do a flyin kick combo in the air. blade couldnt have a chance against dante because he is what u could almost say as immortal. Anway those who dont know both sides of the debate then stay out of it. Btw ggundam have u clocked dmc 2?

dante would knock out blade any time with his sparda alastor or ifrit blades jus got some crappy sword dante has all move abilitys

yes alamgir i have devil may cry 2. some people says it sucks. well it doesnt. in devil may cry 2 his moves are mad tighter. the only thing bad about it is the storyline and it lacks the style that devil may cry 1 had.

i think you all miss the points !

i have never played DMC 1 or 2 but i actually know exactly what both can do !

as for BLADE...
well, the movies and the comics are two different things !

** COMICS **
BLADE uses a MOTOCYCLE that has heavy artillerie...
he also uses a lot of weapons and rather use them then use hand to hand combat which he lacks a lot ! he use brute force when he needs to, but never have i seen him do those stunts like in the movies ! so my guess is that he cannot do them !

his sword is not just a simple sword, its a BEAM SABER (as in cuts everything)
he uses stakes that goes at high velocity... he's fast, pretty damn strong (more then spiderman 10tons limits) can live during the day and night ! also, he almost never sleeps. fighting during day and night !

he has no problem with long range fights and actually can dodge the bullets easily, making him an hell of a gun fighter and a rival in close range fights. (he doesn't need any martial arts, he just use his brute force)
and he's white !

** MOVIES **
he's black, knows martial arts and refer to it more then weapons. he has a super duper car with nothing special, except great speed ! he is agile like hell, very fast and strong, tho he seems a lot weaker then in the comics !

he has a katana which he loves killing with.
he has no problem in a gun fight, and has no problem in a close range fight !

all those makes him a whole lots of a vampire hunter !

CONCLUSION...
weapons aren't good against him cause he knows everything he needs against gun fighters, plus his speed makes him able to even dodge machine gun bullets ! so long range fights will not stop him.

close range fights, he can fight pretty damn well in both cases and his a formidable fighter in himself. when his beam saber gets in the way, the opponent only hope is to get away !


dante as pretty much the same deals of arsenals, which makes em both pretty damn good fighters and well suited for the job they do ! the only thing that makes dante more powerfull on, his is magic, but that advantage is overtaken by BLADES FAST REFLEXES ! which abe him to easily find a way around it !

nutshell, a pretty damn good fight !
can't say who's gonna be the winner !
one thing is sure tho, they will never fight since they are on the same side !

u make a good point karma. anywho i cant believe that there are people who never played devil may cry 1 or 2. WHAT IS YALLS PROBLEM!!!!!!! go rent the game or somethin cause it is a very good game.

i kinda agree with ya karma but still i go for dante i've seen the comic blade but dante can transform into a devil and can be almost immortal a bit like neo in the matrix. In this from he can fly, run super super fast especially with quick heart he can use elemental attacks like making thunder come from the sky which cannot be dodged as it covers a big area and locks on. I dont know if any of u know about this but in dmc2 if ur weak and on red and do devil trigger he turns into a super devil which is flyin as default and can shoot down fireballs like he could in dmc 1 with sparda, and if u go down he attacks with a powerful extra long sword. Anyway dant would probably win becos compare a vampire and a devil. I'm sure a devil will be more powerful than a vampire. btw gundam what part r u in dmc 2

i don't play much on those consoles, i have my computer and that's all i need, when i'm bored i go on my DC or PSOne !

playstation 2 sucks? this is one of the greatest consoles ever made and u think xbox is better or even gamecube. Look at xbox think about what games it has compared to ps2 and look at gamecube its a babys machine. in my opinion i think xbox sucks becos it has so many #### games and gamecube as well becos it has all these babyish games, and dmc wont ever come to pc.

PS2 has some great games, as well as some good controllers... but !

XBOX got everything PS2 has + more ! like that hard drive that able you to save without ever buying any MEMORY CARDS ! it also as better INTERNET CAPABILITY. as well as a lot more graphics and sounds !

overall, the machine is way better then the PS2, the GC is way out of the PS2 !

as for all the games that are for childrens or babys ! don't you ever think that CRASH BANDICCOT for PS211 isn't for babys or childrens ?

go onto GAMEFAQS.com and look in the PS2 section for how many games are for 10 years old kids and less ! you'll find about half the PS2 games are ! just like all the other consoles on the market !

for all i know, i never saw any consoles being developped jkust for kids or just for adults, neither have i ever saw a console having more games for adults then for kids ! why ? because kids are about 75% of the consoles market !

i rather have a machine that is capable of doing much much more then the basics, the PS2 doesn't give that and onto that, sony has a lot of trouble keeping there words about things... like the internet kit who was delayed for a whole year. no wonder people got tired of waiting ! at least XBOX had kept there word so has nintendo !

anyway...
some games are good, some are bads, you can't deny that... game wise, i would buy all three consoles. but hardware wise, the PS2 is way behind all others ! the PS2 was a rival of the DC because they had the same potential, but XBOX and GC completely outmatched the PS2 !
