You would have to pay I think $400+ for the PS3, and then how much money for each item with this Cell chip? It would cost just WAY too much.

there is no more CONSOLE on the market !

except for nintendo who keeps understanding that a console is MADE FOR GAMES not listening movies or recording application or even surfing the web ! for me, a console has always been a GAME ONLY machine. a machine only capable of bringing you the best games ever ! but it seems that MICROSOFT and SONY think otherwise. all they think is making more cash and they see lots more cash if there machine is capable of doing much more then games.

i think this, if they need to have more things in there system for it become a multi-session machine then it's because there machine isn't so good. look at nintendo, simple machine who play GREAT games, and they still kick butt when it's time to compare their machine to the other 2 !

i have said it before ands i will always say it. a console is for GAMES ONLY not the 300 other thing the system can do, if you want to browse the net or listen DVD. get a FRIGGING COMPUTER !

yep PC are for web surfing, DVD players are made to listen dvd's and console game are for games............it's just to make money that they do this.........but nothing can be better then nintendo.........

Well, anyone who buys all this new crap should think about something first: Do you really want to waste about $1000 total on games and machines and whatnot? I mean, come on, what a waste of money!!! Plus, the 2 billion+ dollars put in to making this thing could go towards more important things, like cancer funds, or to the homeless, or to an infinite number of funds and helpful organizations. In my opinion, if that much money needs to be put into something so pointless, why spend the money at all?
