View Full Version : Chatroom bug - Freezes....!

I don't know if this happens to you, but sometimes when I go in the chatroom and chat, it's freezes and for about 10 secs I don't see anymore replies or ppl entering or leaving, and my responses appear like 20 secs after I make them, what causes that to happen? I'm sure one of you experts can enlighten me on the subject.

I think that happens to everyone. I tested the chat rooms on my comp and on my friends Pc and sometimes when i enter it freezes also. It might have something to do with how many people in the chat server at the time and what are their connections....

when too many ppl are in 1 server and there a lot of hosts going on at 1 point the server slows down. just go to another server

this is easy fix. it happens to me wat u do is go to ooscanoos first then exit ooscanoos and go to global and it wont freeze. the server is messed up for download version i guess

Also too many ppl in a chat room causes "no sync" problem..but im sure you vet's already know that..but for those dont know move to another server...that also will cut down on lag..(alittle)

that's why i choose to be in a server that has either a few pl or no ppl at all...i don't mind waiting for some1 to join the server

its not a bug...digital's computer just sux =p...and cuz he's usually downloading porno, which slows it down....lol

2nd server is the place to be...

Um Italy the global server is out of my house....Im on cable and I have a sony viao that meets all the expectations. Most ppl choose to go into the global server and that's fine but, if you are having problems jump into the second server and im sure other ppl will be there as well. That is the reason why multiple servers are up.

The reason the servers sometimes freeze is b/c too many ppl are: leaving, entering, and talking at the same time, that the server cannot keep up for you, so it freezes rather than trying to keep up. To fix this when it happens, just leave the chat room and go back in.
