Lag Boost - Explanation on what it does

Well some people in the chat rooms don't accept challenges from people with lag boosters on....They say it boosts lag and thus you are cheating.Little do they know it is suppose to help with lag. Why would you put a lag feature on the game???? Stupid.
Well does someone have a better explanation as to what it really does in more detail and explanation :) ????

well... in the same window as the "lag-boost" option, there is a small "?" button in the bottom-right...

press it... and u'll know what exactly "lag-boost" does.. :biggrin:

Hm, I always thought "Lag Boost" was the "Slow Connection Mode (for high lag)" , but upon seeing that page, it seems "lag compensation" with the settings of "low, med, high" is actually the lag boost?
