Ultimate battle 22

I just got Ultimate Battle 22 (the american version) and I tried to enter the code in the back of the instruction book to get the extra 5 characters but it didn't work. I must have entered the code 50 times and it still doesn't work :( . Does anyone know when and where to enter the code because I might just be doing it wrong. It also might be that I'm using the game on the PS2, but I thought it was compatible. It is also saying it can't read the PS2 memory card which is brand new. If anyone knows what I'm doing wrong please respond.

hey Dark, i found this on the net and i really hope it helps you out kay :)

1.Play as Super Saya-jin X3
To play as Super Saya-jin X3, finish the game with Gokou on any level. Then play a second game, defeating the first foe but intentionally losing to the second. Choose Gokou again to continue the game. He has been transformed into Super Saya-jin X3!

2.Unlock Additional Characters
To unlock 5 additional characters, press UP, Triangle, DOWN, X, LEFT, L1, RIGHT, R1 at the title screen. If entered correctly, the title should read: "Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Battle 27"!

the problem is ps1 games cannotuse ps2 memory cards. i have tried that and it will not work. since that dragonballz game is a playstation1 game , u need a playstation1 memory card. u can play ps1 games on ps2 but u must use a ps1 memory card

first of all... the game never got to america ! its jap only, so if you found the game in english, then it was TRANSLATED by some TRANSLATION GROUPS !

that's main;ly why that game is so rare !
i know, i have tryed to find it everywhere !

Karma you are mistaken. Just this month Infograms came out with the American version. If you don't belive me search the net and you'll find it. You can also order it on the infograms website :D .

you just said yourself... a month ago !

its been years of searching for my part !
so i am right, until a month ago !

as for PS2, yeah it is retro compatible with PSX games !
but only if you have a PSX memory card in the console. PS2 memory cards are using a very different weay of storing games onto em, that system is not compatible with PSX games. so basically to play a PSX game, you must use PSX MEMORY CARD or the game won't be able to save at all !
