Naruto in america - Picked up by funimation

[color=#000000:post_uid12]Naruto is a great series and if it is picked up by funimation or 4kids it is going to be put on toonami... this is bad. Funimation(or 4kids) "usually" takes a good series and turns it into crap. They make the voices all whiney or dumb, edit out swearing and blood, and edit out scenes not appropriate for little kids. They should at least put it on adult swim. They'll probably edit out most of the bloody scenes and take out the sexy no jutsu...ninja center fold

I don't know for sure that they will do all of this but it is likely they will do most of what i stated. If they don't put it on adult swim there's another downside. This will probably be the next dragonball with little kids. I can just imagine them running around calling out names and trying to do hand signs.

eh... i meant to burn the data on to a cd and have keep them so they arnt messed up, i didnt word it well... and i've signed a petition on some website, they have had like 9000-10,000 people sign

but its with out a doubt that it will be in america because its supposed to come out in like september or something like that... so they probably added all the voices already and those voice actors want their money.

yeah, i was eating dinner and watching tv and 1piece was on, which was licensed by 4kids and it was so stupid, the voices, the script, they just butchered it... :Oo:

i heard they got some good voice actors though

not so much the animation so much as the voices, the voices got annoying, especially ith the main character, but i do like the fighting , storyline and origins, its just the voice acting script is kinda corny otherwise its okay... also some of the character design is odd, but i also like the shonen jump version,the manga

well the actual script is going to stink because its being catered to kids who understand english... no matter how well the guys translate it, it wont have the same audacity that the japanese version has...

yeah, alot of animes picked up by different companies are usually released on dvd unedited so depending on the company...and with the script they do okay on some mangas/manwhas like with rebirth and naruto and other exceptions they did pretty well.

yeah, usually its easier and cheaper but i currently have only bought 1 anime, and i gave it too my friend as a gift, otherwise ill either rent or download it

for box torrents you cant download individual episodes you gotta download them in like increments of 40...
