Rd at level 1? - A glitch,a bug,or is it cheating?

ok I was in a battle right? my opponent had rage and he used 2 of his rage points.All of a sudden he did Raging Demon at level 1.I don't know what's going on but maybe some of you guys may know,and no he wasn't a VIP he did it with a normal Akuma.Please give me an answer!

Your comp must of been a great deal slowier than his/hers.

You need to learn what your fps is first.

Mines is a low 9.555 on a regular.

To know your Frames per secound in sfo.

simply type int he chat window during a battle.(I recommend you go to storymode....and as soon as the battle begins press "1" tell you hear the words "Mission complete".Then open your chat window & type in=

[code:1]/fps[/code:1]

Just like that.

Hopefully you can return tot his topic...and give a number...

If your FPs is low it was most likely lag.

You computer probally missed his rage factor transformations completely(....this has accured to me also....)

You just have to stay on point.

If your FPS is low I recommend you turn on lag boost.

I'll tell you how to do that...if that's the case... :dozingoff:

Nah.. not really SBYRD.

I've been on alot of computers.. that are very fast.. and max fps is 35.000.. and was 40.000 (when tmy had those last frames) . My comp fps max is 35.0000.. and sometimes I have this sorta problem. It has nothing to do with slower or faster. But it doesn't matter how fast your comp is, you will still have lag.. might NOT be power not going down lag... but maybe a different kind of lag, as in this case.

as you know switching to evil is possible as long as you rage points... things is your computer probebly thought he was evil when he wasn't thus generating that rd at level 1 !

I was just about to say that.... often I have an on screen bug where a vip is normal on my screen but can do vip moves. But when they turn normal is when they turn rage on my screen. So no lag or nuthing there.... just a good ol' BUG.

this only happens when u hit ur opponent while hes doin rage factor but this cud work as a HUGE advatange 4 u

about the vip with normal clothes... happens to me too.. the guy doesnt say vip but he's doing vip moves with out rf... but about him doing rd maybe your comp was running slow thus you had lag... so he was basically raping you and building his power level...

all this is, is sometimes there is lag when someone uses Rage factor, making you unaware that they are in a vip form. and vip akuma can do a rd at level one.

so you just didn't see the change thanks to lag and the game never makes it up.

And sometimes...some users land a Rd on thier comp...and you may stop.....it...but it still goes through on thier comp....

So sometimes a secound Rd accures?

I've seen it before in alot of fights...

If that accured...then that's pure lagg.

I really think the fighter did rage factor while you did a special,and it took alot of fps at onetime..

also look at your ping number when you fight..

If it's real high..that's not to good either...a low ping is good..

The ping number is in that little slab where "LAG" flashes often....

The defualt numbers you may see are...

3000
80 +80= 160

1626 + 1626= 3252

It usually ranges up and down between those three sums I bet....

but yeah something else for TMyApp to get on point. :whatsthat:

ya people we should be helping out this guy who had this question. so i think everyone has come to a consensus that it was a factor of lag. where your opponent used rf went vip akuma and did rd at level 1.
