Full metal alchemist the movie - Yes its finally here *spoil alert

the full metal alchemist movie just came out in japan today... but since i cant speak japanese * punches myself in the gut* i will have to wait another week or so until people sub the movie... this is going to be the bomb since this show is one of the greatest animes ever made... oh and from past experiences this topic may spoilers so beware!!

so where they left off is where ed and alphonse made it seem like they would find each other some day... now that ed is in "our" world he cant use alchemy... but alphone can...
from the previews ed meets a guy who looks alot like alphonse...
alphonse hedeirch. from what i guess is that one of the alphones's will die to bring the other one back... just like when ed died in our world to come back to the alchemy world

yeah, i'm a huge Fullmetal Alchemist fan, the series is slowly picking up a crowd in america, it's already one of my favorites, i can't wait until it comes out in america, im definately gonna buy it, but i dont buy the episode dvd's because 4 episodes per dvd and tons of episodes is the reason. I bought the game though, i have to say it was a bit of a disappointment though very fun and innovative they could've done better. ill probably download the movie subbed too. they've made like 3 fma games(1 released in america) though the fighting one(dream carnival or something) looks pretty promising. :buttrock:

The movie looks great! I'm definately seeing it 1 way or another and more than once.

ya its a good series but its already in america.. its on adult swim at 1:00 am (central 12:00am). but to tell you the truth the japanese version with subs is alot better... the voices are better and basically everything. i also heard the first game stunk but the second is supposed to be alot better.
and about the movie unless you can understand japanese good luck because we are both going to have to wait at least a week for subs! :(

yeah, the only real downside to having anime thats not on adultswim is that its usually picked up by funimation and they make the voices stupid and they edit out swearing and blood, i recently heard that naruto got picked up for toonami, and this is BAD!

i do watch FMA on adultswim and its currently my favorite anime on tv.

But the first game was bad because it was a hack and slash button masher, but it would slow down from time to time and the graphics were not up to notch and no voicovers, all text :Oo:

bleach isnt coming to america anytime soon... so your best bet is to download the episodes from narutofan.com you have to pay like 3.50 a month but its worth it...

i had like the first 72 episodes in bittorrent files but none of my media players could play them, do you have to unpack bittorrent files like zipped ones? because otherwise i dont know

no all that a bittorent file does is download the show in different segments... and combines them at the end... what probably happened to you is that you dont have the proper codecs and or media player... i'd suggest getting vlc media player... and download nimo codec pack... also get xvid codec..

well back with Fullmetal, there have been a couple of episodes that i didnt like but most of the other ones were great. for instance one of the ones i didnt like were one of the early episodes, where they have a arm wrestling contest with arm mails and ed cheats because they were cheating and winry got happy, then upset... well any way it was a pointless episode.

edit: i just got done downloading it but i need an xvid decompressor, ill check on google

kk... well those episodes you were talking about were just fillers.... all animes have it so theres nothing we can do about it.

yeah, well i saw the naruto movie and it was great, and filllers can get annoying if there are too many, like inuyasha. but the most annoying thing about inuyasha is they repeat the storyline every singele episode, it gets annoying. they should just put it in the opening like Fma does.

its all about those anime companies and money... the longer they run the more money they get... as for the full metal alchemist movie, if you type in hagane no renkinjutsushi in google a website comes up and gives a summary of it... however i didnt read it because of the spoilers.

yeah, though heres a pretty old anime that started coming on adult swim again, FLCL, its pretty wierd :Oo: but its okay, it only has 8 episodes so i've seen them all. the graphic novels are only 2 volumes long... its about some kid who has robots coming out of his head after being hit with a guitar...yeah...

well anyway inuyasha gets really old,fast

the new animes coming up are better...
back in the day though, i though ranma 1/2 was cool

it ended a couple of minutes ago but its not as "fresh" as i remembered, but te monster or whatever coming out of her head start attacking naota and the girl with the guitar smacks it but some curry falls on its mouth something and it ends up getting diareia... and it runs off the building... and some other stuff happens, it was pretty good, i mostly like it for the style used in the anime

hmmm... okay go to box torrents because i assume that you do not want to pay for anything. So go to boxtorrents.com and sign up. Once doing that go to the search option and type in Full Metal Alchemist. After doing this (if the movie has been subbed haven't checked myself) the movie should appear. Now click on the link and you should see another link to download the movie... Hey! it downloaded really fast! Even if it did you didnt download the actual movie you downloaded the torrent. To actually download the movie get a bit torrent client. I suggest azureus or abc torrent. Drag the torrent file into the client. Once doing this choose a destination most preferably to the desktop (to a folder because the torrent may have many files)
The way a torrent works is downloads different parts of the movie at different times. At the end it will combine them in order. The way u want the torrent is many seeders (people who let you download the file)... depending on your internet speed you may not have to wait a long time for it to download

Now that the download has finished open it up with your media player... if your using windows media player and it says it doesnt have the proper codecs or if the video is playing upside down you need to get a codec. Get xvid codec... nimo codec... and i say get vlc media player... It is better than windows... So thats basically it

just merging the soul wasnt the major cost.... it was the actual transmutation they did. Human alchemy is forbidden but ed and al tried anyway to get their mother back... So by doing this there was an equivalent trade ed lost his right arm and left leg while alphonse lost his whole body except for his soul. So ed transmutated that to a body of armor...
