yo any one know how to get shin akuma

Go through arcade mode with Capcom characters (I think that's how it is), beat the mini-boss (Bison or Geese), beat the final stage, and if you have 1500 or more (I think) points, a few finest KO's (KO him/her with a super or somethin' like that) you'll get to fight him. To use him you have to beat him..

i got made it to shin akuma and ultimate rugal easy. the trick is tryin to beat them :laughlong:

but i got a little technique that i use. i get perfects on shin akuma and ultimate rugal (and this is no joke) ;)

my favorite team is ryu/terry/kyo. i use ryu to go up against akuma cause he is my ultimate fav and i kick mucho ass with him.

if ryu gets killed then terry comes in to weaken akuma some more. (i dont expect terry to beat shin akuma but he can whoop up on ultimate rugal)

kyo is like mym last wave. him and ryu can beat him easy cause of their devastating anti air moves.

ROTFL, any Japanese R1 Geese would kill you, hell, my R2 Geese would make you not Play the game anymore. Rock is Gay, wannabe Terry/Geese, Terry/Geese own him, just some punk teenager who thinks he's so good because he can do his whack ass raging storm.

It doesn't matter if you like who more than which, that doesn't make a character bad. Infact, Geese is top tier in CvS2(Because of his awesome counters). "Too Easy" "Pathetic" "predictable"

What kind of Joke team is that? It only takes 4 Geese Hard punches to KO Evil Ryu(Ryu is better than Evil Ryu), Akuma iss ####, don't bother using him, pick Sakura instead, Ken is decent, which groove do you use?

ryu is not gay!!!!!!! he can do a special from almost all of his attacks. he has good speed too. i can do a 5 hit combo with him that ends in a hadoken or a hurricane kick

ryu does not suck. once u really get to know the ryu in the game then u will see that he doesnt suck. i used to have the same impression of the game. then i went to practice and started doing combos with him. he can do a super from any of his punches and kicks. he has decent speed and he is mad durable. but most people over look ryus power. if used properly he can destroy an opponent in a matter of seconds.

Gahh... Alright... why does Ryu suck? I will tell, infact, I'll tell why the shotos suck.

Ryu:

No major priority on his normals that he can dish out, blatant combos(You'll only be seeing 3 hit combos from him at most without supers). Too predictable(CvS2 is a game of predictability, but damn... Ryu is way too obvious). Bad fireball(Pitiful damage, and too much lag in excecuction, and after excecution). Shoryuken has VERY low priority(Like Dan in SFA3), Dont even bother with his spin kick.

Horrible jump ins/cross overs, no 1 on 1 game, bad supers(Shinkuu Hadouken is like getting hit by an old woman 5 times, Don't think of using his Super Spin kick, Shin Sho is not great, it's a level 3, the damage is actually worse(R4 Ryu doesn't even kill an R2 Dhalsim with Shin Sho), and good luck trying to find ways to connect it.

Recommended Ratio: R1, or R2(I would rather use him as R1)

Recommended groove: C, P, N, K

Evil Ryu:

He's fast, and is strong, but thats about it. He takes damage like your grandma a while after steroids(Yeah, and that is very very bad). He gets killed by a Geese Raging Storm, Any of Sagat and Blankas supers, and Giefs. Most of the cast, even at the same ratio. Teleport is weak "woot, I'm going to teleport, *gets hit at slow ass start up*, woops I'm dead".

Bad supers, ever tried his Denjin Hadouken(electric hadouken)? Words of advice, don't use it, unless your drunk. Raging Demon is laughable, everything about him is bad, he has no combos, nothing

Recommended Ratio: R1, R2

Recommended Groove: C, P, N

Shin Akuma's game is anything but Up close, he's a keep away guy, trying to get you in the corner, and chip you to death, or run away with teleportation(Make sure you dont get hit with super while teleporting). Sure, he's got a cool new super, but it can be hit out of by almost anything, and the user will suffer no damage, It has horrible chip, and so much lag at the end, and even a lot of lag at start up, that you can just dash through it. I don't know why he's banned at tourneys, he isn't much of a threat.

and tj5 i like to use yamazaki. i like to use him to piss off my opponents. cause i can do the taunt and counter real fast.

Well rock is Geese son so of course he should have some of geese moves. And all that about Akuma and Shin Akuma bull $hit R4 Shin Akuma well destroy geese. Raging demon 33 hit will Kill geese. Akuma is the greatest killing machine in Streetfighter he should be banned some people he comes across he will kill. And his new super that when he comes down ontop of the enemy with a chop does MAJOR damage. Even the mans air fireball and super does alot of damage. And doing his teleport will confuse Geese. HA! Raging storms dont make me laugh.

Raging demon 33 hit will Kill geese.He can cancel that out with a projectile or Raging Storm. There's also this thing called rolling (Don't forget about jumping). Hell, you can even punch him and cancel it out. And his new super that when he comes down ontop of the enemy with a chop does MAJOR damage. One word to say: Block. Even the mans air fireball and super does alot of damage. That's nice.. but your health bar SUCKS, other characters can do as much damage in a few hard hits..And doing his teleport will confuse Geese. Confuse Geese? Have you lost it? It's the person, not Geese, that's controlling, well.. Geese. How will it confuse him?

HA! Raging storms dont make me laugh. Oh, I guess a super that can hit you while you're doing your precious air fireball super (and take away loads of health), hit you when you finish a teleport, at the end of a Dragon Punch, etc. isn't all that good eh? I like the Shotokans/ Dark Shotokans better than Geese though, lol.

By the way, G Gundam, I've beaten some Asians in Alpha 3, that doesn't mean they're good. They're just as good as anyone. It's the Japanese players that are very good, asians just hang around arcades a lot, so they know what to do.

Yes, Shin Akuma throws two fireballs in the corner against Geese, Geese blocks both, Akuma tries to attack after throwing fireballs, Geese counters, Shin Akuma loses 1/3 of life.

Pshh... Who needs a roll when you can parry everything with P groove. If you know how to use P groove right, you own all. Trust me, you can parry a whole super without a sweat if you know how to time it right, and then cancel that stuff right into a super of your own, or better yet, a special into a super.

i got the extra options and everything but i dont use them. i also beat boss mode with ryu. i guess there are your average ryu users in the game and then there are your master ryu users (like me) :laughlong:

Chang owns Scorp, better than Ryu, he's got a lot of durability, and for a big man, he's got range, even a helper. I think one of those hite from his bowling ball brings Shin Akuma down to 50-25% life left.

G Gundam, you are not a god with Ryu, I bet Alex Valle, and John Choi would beat you no prob in a Ryu vs Ryu match.

And the best characters are Blanka and Sagat hands down. You think Shin Akumas fire balls are effective against slow Sagat? If Sagat gets a hit on Shin Akuma, it's an automatic KO(exaggeration, but I believe you know what I'm getting at).

as for the two you've been talking about TARK, even they aren't invincible, they can be beaten easily but about anyone who sucessfully make em do mistakes !

Yeah, the teleporting is good. His semi-circle backwards rotatin + HK in the air is pretty good at keeping away from the other characters, especially if you use it right :biggrin:

Fast health depletion? Get hit into a super with someone in the K Groove (I think that's the one. The character builds their level by getting hit, and he/she turns red when it's full)

naw i just use the n groove. cause u can charge up to level 3 supers fast. plus u got all of your basic skillz like the roll and the tech recover roll (which i use everytime i fall) i also like the counter movements and the counter attacks.

anyways i think evil ryu is great because of his unblockable fireball. people says it sucks cause it takes to long to charge up and it waste a level 3.

well my friends im gonna tell ya how to use it. get to your opponent. throw them in the opposite corner. as soon as u let go u need to do your motion for this super. it will charge up. and since its unblockable they will pop up right into it. it took me a while to master this.

You can parry the super in P groove, so it isn't fool proof...

well my friend u cant parry it. dont believe me. go to practice mode. choose p groove for your opponent. go to dummy setting and go to guard to set his action on auto parry. then attack him. as u can see u cant even hit him. then do your unblockable fireball and watch what happens. wham!!!!! he cant parry it
