If you listen to Mozart you do not grow up to be smart.

"Become smarter as you grow?". Restavega, it says that under the topic title.
Anyway, I know some really intelligent people and they never listened to motzart.

I don't believe you get SMARTER as you grow, but it would affect in tha way you thinka nd feel about things.
I mean listenign to Mozart(not Motzart) at an all ealry already shows that you're not doing what an ordinary kid should be doing, and thinking different. SO maybe as you're growing, that becomes a Part of your life and you PLAN to Succeed!
Well.. why not!?
SO.. No it doesn't make you SMART as you grow, but it does affect you oPinianted wise!
That's my oPinion! ;]

Well it doesn't exactly guarantee a genius in the making. There are a lot of geniuses out there who never listened to motzart and not everyone who did listen to motzart became a genius.

it's not just motzart it's most classical music i think. we talked about it in 3rd grade in an advanced reading class because the teacher always played it while we read.i'm surprised i remember that...

alamgir made some sense there. It might not guarantee a genius. I think it might make them learn more/faster than the average person. That's all i think it would do.

Yes,
In this view only.
As a child you are searching for your place.
If you were exposed to classical music such as motzart.
You would most likely have a good manner to yourself.
Motzart made music for emotions......or so I believe...
If you can understand the meaning to such music your already attempting to become a scholar....
and those who question are attempting to know...and if your trying to achive understanding.......your trying to gain wisdom..
Wisdom is intelligence as experience..as influence.......and if you have a great deal of wisdom...in some views you are smart.
