View Full Version : Biggie - Quite a story

Anyway, here's a testament as to why Biggie was so good. A friend and I were studying before our final exams, and we decided to go get some McDonalds. So on our wayy back he played a biggie song. Although I can't remember the name of the song, the lyrics told a story of howbiggie met a girl who happened to be going out with a basketball player.
Note that he's spitting mad rhymes and telling the story at this time.
Okayyy, so the girl's into him and he's into her as well... and they're having a good time without the basketballer (who's supposed to be the girl's bf) knowing ... on a night, when he had an away game, the boyfriend was supposed to be out the whole day, and return the next morning... so Biggie saw his chance and went to their house (where the bf (b-baller) and the girl stayed)
They were both messing around in the room upstairs and all of a sudden, the door of the house (that is downstairs) opens... and it turns out it was the guy. The game got cancelled and he was home early. The girl all of a sudden starts shaking and thinking of what to tell her bf about the strange guy (Biggie) who was in their room.
Nowbiggie was cool and brought out his gun ready to smoke the fella if he came up to say anything stupid. Of course the girl didn't want this and started to shiver. As the guy (b-baller) walks upstairs to see what his wife is up to, she yells from the room "honey please get me a glass of water"... and he says okay, and goes back down
Please note again, Biggie's spitting mad rhymes to this tale
And then as he went back she turns to him and asks Biggie what they'll tell the dude, so he asks her... well, lay down there and gimme the rope behind the curtains. So he ties her up and uses the pillow case to cover up her mouth and holds the gun to her head.
As the boy friend steps into the room, he sees what's taking place and already assumes Biggie's a robber with a gun ready to rob both of them and kill his gf. Funny enough, the guy soils himself and starts speaking gibberish telling Biggie to take whatever he wants... and so on. Biggie just asks him to drop the money and get out of his face
So he takes the money, leaves both of them and gets into his ride and speeds off.
Funny enough, he screwed with the b-baller's wife and robbed him on the same day getting away clean from both incidents.
Now although I do NOT condone any of the actions the main character (Biggie) took in this story he told, this serves as a testament as to how good Biggie was as a rapper.
Of course, no disrepect to Tupac... but in reality, Biggie was good... and for the sake of everything, I'll go and look for the name of the song and post it later on
Hope ya'all enjoyed that.

You went to mcdonalds? God that is disgusting.
Anyways, that is the deal with rap/hiphop nowadays. They like to write about the same things over and over again. It is pretty pathetic. That is what makes biggie and tupac the greatest of all time. Their music has a storyline in it. Which makes it more interesting to listen to.
On the other hand, this new generation of hiphop raps stuff like, hmm let me turn on the radio and pick up any random song to show as an example:
"..wanna buttun up ur pants a lil bit..take em and pull em down just a lil bit.. get to kissin and touchin just a lil bit"
I swear this world is soo perverted.. -_-"

There is no "men" in sfo. There are boys, some over the age of 18, yet still boys. No one here is grown up enough to consider themselves "men". I am 18 and I still say I am a kid. If anyone here were to think of themself like that, then their lives must be boring.

The HELL is wrong with you ?? ... I said "quite a story" as the topic description, not an inspirational topic... and before you ever EVER jump into conclusions as to what someone says, make sure you read the HELL out of the topic before saying anything judgemental. Cause I clearly stated at the end of the story.. and I quote
Now although I do NOT condone any of the actions the main character (Biggie) took in this story he told, this serves as a testament as to how good Biggie was as a rapper.
Which words there suggest the story as being inspirational ??
The reason I created the topic was to tell you that someone exists... or at least existed, that could make that storyline into a song... and rhyme with words while telling it. Does that make me a fool who views the main character of the story as an idol ?? HELL NO!!! But just imagine someone rhyming to that.
*sigh* ...
Now dominicankid, I can see where you're coming from... and I TOO feel the same way. That's the main reason I listen to less rap nowadays and more ANiMe soundtracks and classical. It's kinda sad though... Yoko Kanno, Mozart and Handel replacing Rap in my car stereo. That's quite fascinating for an african american
And finally, heey.. McDonalds isn't that bad. Besides it was 2:00 am and there was no other place to go. Besides the food there was cheap... so it makes sense

sum1 is slightly mad :(
Yes, eventhough the amount of "positive" meesages in rap lyrics are diminishing, i try and see past it.
Mc D's. thx to my cousin, i really DO NOT LIKE Mc D's. Last year, all he wanted to eat, the WHOLE summer, was Mc D's. Honest, breakfast, lunch, dinnner and night snacks was Mc D's. It's 8:30am and we were up all night. I said le'ts drive down the street and get some food. We're about to go to sleep, and he wants a Big Mac. I'm tellin him that they have breakfast this early. He wouldn't leave the car. He'd rather have a big mac or not eat. So, we had no choice. I wouldn't let him go hungry.
just thought i would share that story about Mc D's

Oh i know man. My cousin is just a sturbborn lil punk. But ya, i just listened to a rather....flamming rap song. It emphasized this theory about rap music. One reason why the lyrics in this genre is getting worse is b/c of the "beefs" with other rap artists/crews.
If you want. I'll elaborate.

Funny, it looks like they pasted an animated picture of tupac over his head because the body looks realistic.
Anyways, I guess someone just drew a picture of their favorite artists. Their is no "throne" for rap. Rap has died in the 90's. After JayZ, there has been any good rappers out there, I will probably excuse Kanye West (except his new song "Diamonds" is pretty questionable). Ever since, these new generation of "rappers" came up, RAP HAS PRETTY MUCH DIED.

That's cause of his image. The whole "I've been shot and I survived" persona he's putting out there is what's selling his records. Add that to the good doctors sublime beats and you have a good recipe for success with a shocking after taste.
Remember that he was NOTHING before Dr. Dre took him. In fact his label dropped him after his first album cause he didn't sell anything... and after he was shot, they just let him go. That's when Aftermath got him... and now he's just feeding off of the whole scenario

Back to subject. 50 cent having one of the biggest selling albums since tupac is pretty surprising.
People back then would buy tupac albums just to read the booklet inside the CDs and also just to say "I got the tupac album!!". Plus tupac albums were always full of music tracks.
Think about it, a CD now in Virgin or FYE is 19 dollars. Also some rap CD's nowadays are filled up with tracks full of skits that are not even hilarious in my opinion. They make stupid little sex noises trying to make people laugh. I am not going to spend my money on a CD full of dumbass skits. That is what theater/opera/dvds are for. Rap artists should stick with music tracks and maybe their albums can be sold more.
Virtual Fighter
05-18-2005, 10:42 PM
Like Kanye west's album?
Except kanye west's album was great. As in really, really good. And the skits were perfectly placed.
I don't know whichother albums have little skits. Outkast's albums have some intermissions, which are also really good.

Yeah.. BIG was a very good rapper.
As for Tupac, he was good also.. but he wrote alot of songs, hes one of those artists that always was writing. Why do you think he still has cds coming out right now? BIG made what he had to made, and what he made was always tight. You can't give me one song that that biggie didn't spit on if you do, please tell me the song. Mostly all the songs biggie made he made a story on. Man.. he was so good..
Another good song is "Warning" by Biggie. In this song, he gets a page (from his pager) at 5:46am from one of his friends at the Barbershop.. his friend Pop from the Barbershop was at a gambling spot, and then told biggie that he heard some kids trying to plot on him.. some boyz he k####ack, that he used to roll dice with, smoke blunts and got nice wit. Biggie then says that they are his boys, and they wouldn't this disrespect him like that. But then his friends say not them, some other fellas. Biggie says thanks for the warning, and then he says, "you got the MAC, whatcha want do" ??
There were trying to plot on biggie and kill him because he had gotten big in the game.
He is still spitting rhymes as these things occur...
At the end of the song, he stops rapping because he hear someone coming.. and then the people that are plotting on him starts talking, waiting for they other friend to come on. As they wait, they keep talking, then one sees a red dot on his friend hear and say, "you have a red dot on you" and then his friend says, "you have a red dot on you too", then, all you hear is gun shots. Biggie and his friend (Pop) has killed them.
You really have to hear the song for yourself.. and trust me, you'll be like, "wow.. this is kind of nice"
I love rap stories.. they're cool

Who the flip is this?
pagin me at 5:46 in the mornin crack a dawnin
now I'm yawnin, wipe the cold out my eye
see who's this pagin me and why..
It's my man Pop from the barbershop
told me he was in the gamblin spot and heard the intricate plot
some people wanna stick you like fly paper neighbour
slow down love please chill drop the caper
remember them kidz from the hill up in Brownsville
that you rolled dice wit
smoked the blunts and got nice wit
yeah my little Fame up in Prospect
nah dem my people nah love wouldn't disrespect
I didn't say dem,
you school be bout some niggas
that you knew from back when,
when you was clockin minor figures
Now they heard you blowin up like nitro
know they wanna stick the knife
through your windpipe slow..
so thank Fame for warnin me now I'm warnin you
you got the mac Biggie
tell me what you wanna do...
[CHORUS]
Damn niggas wanna stick me for my papers
[VERSE 2]
They heard about the Rolex's and the Lexus
wit the Texas license plate outta state
they heard about the pounds
you got down in Georgetown
now they heard you got half of Virginia locked down
they even heard about the crib
you bought your moms out in Florida
the fifth corridor....
Call the coroner
there's gonna be alot of slow singin
and flower bringin
if my burgular alarm starts ringin
whatcha think all the guns is for?
all purpose war got the rottweilers by the door
and I feed em gun powder so they can devour
the criminals tryin to clock my decimals
DAMN..niggas wanna stick my for my C.R.E.A.M.
and the inner dream things aint always how it seems
it's the ones that smoke blunts witcha
see your picture, now they wanna
grab they guns and come and getcha
Bethca Biggie won't slip
I got the calico with the black talons loaded in the clip
so I can rip through the ligaments
put they bodies in a bad prediciment
where all the foul niggas went
Touch my cheddar, feel my Beretta
Buck with what I had you with
you motherflipers betta duck
I leave stains on blood of what remains
Had to jack-it, he had a gun he should've packed it
Cocked it, extra clips in my pocket
so I can reload and explode down ya rasshole
I flip around and get hardcore
see 4 to ya door no beef no more
feel the rush scandalous
The more weed smoke I puff the more dangerous
I dont give a flip about you or your weak crew
What you gonna do when Big Poppa comes for you
Start runnin, homie I bust my gun in
Hold on I hear somebody comin........

Tupac's lyrics were hard driven... tha's the most I can say for it. And although he was quite good, Biggie's flows were a lot sweeter to listen to. They sorta had some flavor in them.
"And every cutey with a booty wants a guuci... now who's the real dookie... "
Quite interesting

There is no "men" in sfo. There are boys, some over the age of 18, yet still boys. No one here is grown up enough to consider themselves "men". I am 18 and I still say I am a kid. If anyone here were to think of themself like that, then their lives must be boring.
I agree also..seeing how I'm also 18. (-_-)
Well biggie smalls...use to freestyle on corners...
They actually had some of his childhood tapped..
He'd lyrically step on people that walk by his stoop.. :O
Tupac was a poet...with a thug life style in a cross balance...
While as biggie smalls was a fat kid who got picked on and realized he had the flow. and formulated very good retorts in a rhyming scheme... :blues:

I heard a similar story before. Don't remember how it fully went. But it was close to that SBYRD said.

Because it'll take an idiotic mind to miss the whole point of ur "Men..." quote. And don't worry, you don't have to beat the subject matter anymore. My point is clear and made... and the irony of the question has been answered in full. There wasn't anything inspirational made... and you can rest easy that we're not hounds.
And SSJKarma, she can't call the cops, cause she was cheating on her husband. Even if the guy was taken to court, he'll reveal everything to everyone... and I'm sure she wouldn't have wanted that
you win. men always win..
i thou the story was funny i thou the character's action was inspirationally in a sense that is new and fresh...that's all...so that's y i say that. i was talking about the story the whole time. i don't know y you have to take it so personally.
now i ll be a lady and not talk about this anymore.

It's when she read the topic and said "Men" ... that's what pissed me off... but I guess the air should be clear now; I think

It is the truth..
Biggie smalls grew up in a chirstian private school he was cross eyed and always made fun of because of it..ither that or his size...
He started dealing in his hood and soon realized........he had some talent in the streets...
He then realized being fearless and to never fold is the way to live.
To believe he was brought up to be one thing...and yet his community influenced him to be B.I.G.
If he was born in the country..we wouldn't have his albums today.
He never stopped dealing....EVER.
He kept dealing even when he made nice cake as a rappier.
He stopped briefily.....
After he got lil kim pregnant and P.diddy at the time known as puffy combs requested him to stop.
Biggie didn't want lilkim to have his child and she didn't feel it was the right time in her career....so birth control she went.....in many interviews she says she regrets that now...
As she views Faith Evans with biggie Jr....and his promise for greatness...
"Party like BIG papa was still here"-LILKIM
PS=sexychic..is having it rough man...=/....I suppose the focus of your topic being semi-sex depressed her?....after her recent ordeal..I suppose.......

Ok I have another Song From the ''Ready to Die'' Album
This song is called ''Juicy''
(flip all you hoes) Get a grip motherfliper.
Yeah, this album is dedicated to all the teachers that told me
I'd never amount to nothin', to all the people that lived above the
buildings that I was hustlin' in front of that called the police on
me when I was just tryin' to make some money to feed my daughters,
and all the niggaz in the struggle, you know what I'm sayin'?
Uh-ha, it's all good baby bay-bee, uh
Verse One:
It was all a dream
I used to read Word Up magazine
Salt'n'Pepa and Heavy D up in the limousine
Hangin' pictures on my wall
Every Saturday Rap Attack, Mr. Magic, Marley Marl
I let my tape rock 'til my tape popped
Smokin' weed and bamboo, sippin' on private stock
Way back, when I had the red and black lumberjack
With the hat to match
Remember Rappin' Duke, duh-ha, duh-ha
You never thought that hip hop would take it this far
Now I'm in the limelight 'cause I rhyme tight
Time to get paid, blow up like the World Trade
Born sinner, the opposite of a winner
Remember when I used to eat sardines for dinner
Peace to Ron G, Brucey B, Kid Capri
Funkmaster Flex, Lovebug Starsky
I'm blowin' up like you thought I would
Call the crib, same number same hood
It's all good
Uh, and if you don't know, now you know, homie, uh
Chorus:
You know very well who you are
Don't let em hold you down, reach for the stars
You had a goal, but not that many
'cause you're the only one I'll give you good and plenty
Verse Two:
I made the change from a common thief
To up close and personal with Robin Leach
And I'm far from cheap, I smoke skunk with my peeps all day
Spread love, it's the Brooklyn way
The Moet and Alize keep me pissy
Girls used to diss me
Now they write letters 'cause they miss me
I never thought it could happen, this rappin' stuff
I was too used to packin' gats and stuff
Now honies play me close like butter played toast
From the Mississippi down to the east coast
Condos in Queens, indo for weeks
Sold out seats to hear Biggie Smalls speak
Livin' life without fear
Puttin' 5 karats in my baby girl's ears
Lunches, brunches, interviews by the pool
Considered a fool 'cause I dropped out of high school
Stereotypes of a black male misunderstood
And it's still all good
Uh...and if you don't know, now you know, homie
Verse Three:
Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis
When I was dead broke, man I couldn't picture this
50 inch screen, money green leather sofa
Got two rides, a limousine with a chauffeur
Phone bill about two G's flat
No need to worry, my accountant handles that
And my whole crew is loungin'
Celebratin' every day, no more public housin'
Thinkin' back on my one-room shack
Now my mom pimps a Ac' with minks on her back
And she loves to show me off, of course
Smiles every time my face is up in The Source
We used to fuss when the landlord dissed us
No heat, wonder why Christmas missed us
Birthdays was the worst days
Now we sip champagne when we thirst-ay
Uh, damn right I like the life I live
'Cause I went from negative to positive
And it's all...
(It's all good)
...and if you don't know, now you know, homie, uh
Uh, uh...and if you don't know, now you know, homie
Uh...and if you don't know, now you know, homie, uh
Representin' B-Town in the house, Junior Mafia, mad flavor, uh
Uh, yeah, a-ight

This is another Track of the ''Ready to Die'' album
This Song is called ''Unbelieveable''
I dont really like the song... But the Tracks hot
Verse One:
Live from Bedford-Stuyverson, the livest one
Representin BK to the fullest
Gats I pull it, bastards duckin when Big be buckin
Chickenheads be cluckin in my bathroom flipin
It ain't nuttin, they knowbig be handlin
with the mac in the Ac' door paneling
Bandaging MC's, oxygen they can't breathe
Mad tricks up the sleeve, red boxers so my #### can breathe
Breeze through in the Q-45 by my side, lyrical high
And those that rushes my cluthes get put on crutches
Get smoked like dutches from the master
Hate to blast ya, but I have ta, you see I smoke a lot
Your life is played out like Kwame, and them flipin polka dots
Who rock the spot? Biggie!
You know how the weed yo, unbelievable
Verse Two:
B-I-G, G-I-E, AKA, B.I.G.
Get it? Biggie
Also known as the bon appetit
Rappers can't sleep need sleepin Big keep creepin
Bulelts heat-seekin, casualties need treatin
Dumb rappers need teachin
Lesson A - don't flip with B-I, that's that, oh I, thought he was wack
Oh come come now, why y'all so dumb now
Hunt me or be hunted, three hundred and fifty-seven ways
To summer sautee, I'm the winner all day
Lights get dimmer down Biggie's hallway
My forte causes caucausians to say
He sounds demented, car-weed scented
If I said it, I meant it
Bite my tongue for no-one
Call me evil, or unbelievable
Verse Three:
Buck shots out the sun roof of Lexus Coupe's
Leave no witnesses, what you think this is
Ain't no amateurs here, I damage and tear
MC's fear me, they too near not to hear me
Clearly, I'm the triple beam dream
One thousand grams of uncut to the gut
It seems fliped up, the way I touched up the grill
Tryin to play gorilla, when you ain't no killer
The gat's by your liver, your upper lip quiver
Get ready to die, tell God I said hi
And throw down some ice, for the nicest MC
Niggaz know the steelo, unbelievable
