Why are mods so quick to ban here?

I dont know why I(MaDPoWer) got banned for nothing. Yeah, mentioned mame but i also said that i hadn't been there in years. And back then there was hardly any rules cause no one was round to break them. There 7527 members here and i was #8. :buttrock: I was even on the forum that came out before this one. Can't I add least get a warning? At least 50 member are here because i refered them to the site by IMing them with the link or giving it plugs on forums. I remeber someone else posting a link to the game on a board i freqent like a year after i did, and other members was telling the guy that i'd posted it along time ago before i could even post and tell the guy that myself. I was one of the first people supporting the project. Back when it was ryu vs ryu only i still spent alot time playing it. I'd be in school and i have everyone in the computer lab playing this game after they saw me playing.....Cant someone cut me some slack, daym.

It doesn't say you are banned on the member list, it says "Awaiting authorization"

let me lay down some facts around the matter...

ROMS = legal if not kept for more then 24hours !
EMULATOR = very legal !

see... its never the emulator that is considered illegal, only the roms !
as for the GENESIS roms... THEY ARE LEGAL !
why ?
sega of america announced themself their opinion about the roms.
they were happy to them going as they were happy to see that most of their games on genesis are still going on and being played ! they also said, they never cared for the games and copyright, as they were just happy to see the roms being played even 10 years they came out !

basically...
genesis roms = not legal, not illegal either ! they don't care at all about this !
NINTENDO ROMS = VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY ILLEGAL ! nintendo is completely against the whole roms/emulation ! they even tryed to pinpoint some major sites like ZOPHAR.net to completely stop their acts ! but fail miserably ! nonetheless... roms are still illegal if its not SEGA !

as for the ban...
