[color=#810541:post_uid9]Now, I know everybody didn't just appear here, and ADM, MODS were assigned to random ppl.
I found this site out based on a rumor that x vs Sf was out (some of ya'll vets know what I'm talking about)
Started playing and then the legendary Zapper was born.
My question is how did [b:post_uid9][i:post_uid9]You[/b:post_uid9][/i:post_uid9] find out about this site.

I found it on a website that had a list of links to other games. Though I didnt join right away because I was dissapointed in the fact that you could only play as Ryu at first.

same as many...
it was back in september 2001 !
(the game was out in august 7th)
i was looking for shockwave games while i was at school, the teacher was talking about internet things and since i knew already i wasn't listening. so i was there checking for internet games since we couldn't install any on our machines. and there i found many websites offering arcades. so i clicked a few and many had a top10 list of games played and to my surprise there it was...
XM VS SF ONLINE !
i was, WTF... i thought this was an arcade game like needing mame or something, so i clicked and saw it wasn't what it thought it was ! i started playing only to let go since you could only play ryu and there was so much more lag then today's !
actually i barely was able to see my opponent, he wa steleporting all over me like mad !
so i shut the thing down and didn't came back until a month later where i joined the forum and asked for help.
from then on i was a forum addict.
that's how i joined this community !
been 3 years ago !

Wow well...TMyApp laid an egg, and I hatched from it with Mod powers, and he put me in here.
Hmm...I'm kind of "still" in a gaming clan (just don't go there anymore), I was the "Lord" there (ranks go from 5-110, the top ones being Barons, then Lords, like Mods then 1 Admin type deal), I got voted into that position there. It is like a democracy there, very close bunch of people, would help anyone out. Anyway, I was doing my duties and running my division of the clan, when someone sent a Mass Mail (The clan has an interclan mailing system) about this game, and I talked to the guy and he got me to come here to play him. It was cool, just Ryu vs. Ryu, and I lost, he knew the tricks, like how the uppercut was the most powerful move in the game (it was just Ryu vs. Ryu, no story mode, more lag, no tag team, no rankings....) ANYWAY...I was shown the site, thought it was great, and joined the forum community, something I don't normally do, and I was pretty good at the game too...then TMyApp asked me to become a Mod when ewalk died, and the reset is history.

Ewalk died :omg: ...this is new to me. Omg, I feel bad now...
I found out about sfo when I was bored...I was on arcade pod and I saw it on the side as one of the most played and I clicked it. And I, Elena, was introduced to the land of lag.

Heh thats funny, I found it on aracdepod too. This iwas when I first got my internet and I was searching for some free online games. I found XMVSSF. To be honest, at first I over looked it,trying to find something better.
After more weeks of searching for a good free online game I realised how stupid I was to turn XMVSSF down because it was miles ahead of anything else I could find on the net (except maybe America's Army but that came later and I play both). So I started playing and I haven't stopeed yet.

i was introduced to this game during comp class in my freshmen year by shadowx, and i got hooked because most other games that i had played over the internet sucked.
i was already fluent with most sf games so playing this game was simple to get started.
