Downloaded version's chat box

i think we have a little problem regarding the chat box on the downloaded version

on the online version, all you have to do to close the chat box is to hit the escape key but when you do that on the downloaded version, the enitire game window closes and you have to reload all over again...

is there any way to solve this?

easy ..dont press escape when u wanna close the chat box..just click on it and it would close fine :D

BloodPack: This has been mentioned before..I believe TMy's answer was something like, "I'll see what I can do".
I "think" TMy has plans for the in-game chat at some time....he just hasnt gotten that point on the "to do" list yet.

anyways, da_vipa, doncha think its kinda disturbing and tiring that whenever you wanna close the chat box, you always have to lift your arms and reach your mouse and click? always?

im thinking of adding another control or something like that...

Closing the chat box with my mouse is only a minor nuisance to me. Since I'm always spamming optic blast, when the box comes up saying that im cheap, I just simply take my right hand and click (that's right, just click since it's already on the place where the tab is). They pretty much dont have THAT much time to attack me when i'm closing the box.
