Help. - Folder problem

ok..i have a question..i had a bunch of files in my document folder..but some odd reason it has been all deleted i even tried searching the folders up. but there's no sign of them anywhere. i was just wondering if u would have ne idea where they could have ended up. or atleast an idea where i can mayb look. and no there not in the trash can.

ok im not realli good wit comps but maybe sum1 hacked into ur comp n deleted ur folders cuz i heard when u get hacked ppl can get into ur comp in dis case they hacked into it then deleted ur files maybe dont mean freakya out :)

check in ur recycling bin

Ok first off there are a couple things you can do. If you knew any of your image names (i.e. sport.jpg) then all you have to do is:

Click on Start on your desktop. Then click on the program that says find...usually about 2 or 3 names up. After that type in what your file name was and it will find it for you. Same thing with the folder. Just Click Find: Files or folders: and type in the name of the folder.

If that dont find them, then there not on your computer anymore.

u never kno .. but when u download stuff from the internet..

ex. kazaa u can get a trojan virus and if u dont have an antivirus that worm can expand and starts eating ur documents.. so

my point is that u have a virus

either sum1 been messin around with ur files[never know who] or unless u got a virus scan system, u've been hacked.

who knows, the computer could of overloaded if u got alot of files. thats what happened to mine.

if you have been hacked then i suggest u download a firewall or something like that cos that stops people from hacking your computer. also be carefull when your downloading thisngs from places like kazaa cos my other computer got completed trashed by a virus i got from a file i downloaded
