Hollywood goes too far. (http://www.joblo.com/index.php?id=4932)

No, it's not about another video game into movie. This is a bit...no...a lot more serious than that.

They're making a movie showing the tragedy. This doesn't even deserve to be in theaters.

Erm whats the big deal? I mean ok it may remind amricans of the tragic events of 9/11. but there have already been so many films about world war and stuff. but it wouldn't exacty be a very great film as we already know what happens.

Yeh i guess some are still grieving over the tragedy, but nothing will change it so ppl should just move on.

Thing is they plan to put it in theaters too early. Now yes I understand it was a bit cruel for them to do Titanic and Pearl Harbor, but compared to this that isn't really that bad. Why you ask? Simple, those films were made decades later, which is more than enough time for people to recover. Now comes this.
People are STILL in therapy because of this. They need to wait 15-20 years after the damn thing. AT least people would have recovered by then!

You know if they make a movie about Jesus they'll make a movie out of anything...Anyhow Hollywood is always going to try and make a movie out of real life events. Why? Simple fact that people like to see movies based on real life events. Are they stepping out of the line? No, I dont think so if thats the case then way more movies have also and to a greater degree.

i didnt see any WW2 vets saynig saving priviot ryan was wrong, or any pearl harbor people saying that Pearl Harbor was wrong (untill they fnished seeing it... cuz that movie SUCKED.)

they made thousands of movies about war, WW1, WW2, vietnam, and desert storm.

whats the bloody fliping differance?

i feel that they should n must show it to educate the americans abt what truly happened so that americans can learnt to become more adaptable to such issues(racism, etc)
and prevent such incidents......... ???

thats true. if they were to make a movie, you just know some fat neck is gonna see it and say "god bless america! ima go kick me some arabs! yee-haww!!"

americans have a sence of victimization whenever something bad happens to them.

As said before, it wouldn't be a problem if it were years later(Around 2011)

People are not ready for this yet.
