View Full Version : Maximum spider - Maximum problem

among all characters of this game and with their respective supers, i just noticed that spidey's maximum spider gets easily cancelled
ok, it goes like this...
in a situation wherein both of YOU and your opponent are about to do a super (example super hadoken) at the same time, you must hold onto your keys to keep your super overcoming your opponent's
but i noticed unlike anyother supers, only the maximum spider gets easily cancelled even with a slightest touch on other keys
thats why whenever i see spideys pic which would entail him about to do a super, i immediately release my fingers on the keys
this never happens on his crawler assault, only maximum spider
is this a bug? is it my pc or the character itself? is this part of tmyapp's tweaking on the character?
if it is, then id say its a bit unfair for the character
i think the damage rate should be change ONLY but not spidey's EXECUTION on maximum spider...

I think it is that way, because it has the auto tracking ability.

well... these "changes" (NOT bugs) u speak of were implemented to make Maximum Spider a bit less "cheap"...
the original version took 40%+ of your health, and was next to impossible to stop... giving even the biggst n00b an "instant win" :biggrin:

i was fighting a beginner with wolverine (he had wolv) and i had full life and he killed me with 1 yes thats right 1 drill claw!!!! :( ???

lag sux dunnit...tmy perhaps u should make a new engine to make it less laggier and faster aswell..??
That drill claw bug is not really lag... or else it wouldn't be happening in practice mode.

it happens in practise mode aswell??..but another engine would be nice stil would make it better :D

how could we forget that? i started to lose every single match.
and drill claw does need to be toned down, but sped up. why can it not go as fast as the spider kick?

imbalance, thats what ive been noticing...
some ppl requesting to make THIS stronger
some say make THIS one faster
the result?...
some characters are being left behind from further improvement
just take a look on sent
hes now looks more impotent than b4
to make set the characters ON BALANCE
if tmyapp makes one character better, he shouldnt tweak the others, making them less powerful

I think solidsnake76 is right.. The drill claws take too much and they should have the same speed and effect as the spiderkick cause that's the only way wolvie can match up to spiderman in a 1 on 1 brawl without helpers( at least till his moves are completed!!)
