[color=#000000]The Nintendo Revolution has been announced, and Super Smash Brothers is a confirmed launch title for this new system, WITH FREE ONLINE MULTIPLAYER. So, I got to thinking, wouldn't it be great to bring back the premier clan for the original free online fighting game for this new game?

I am resurrecting a clan that was in existence way back in 2002-2003 for Street Fighter Online, formerly called

Yet it was very weak. I was in the clan for like a day (accepted by Selvin) untill it bored me to see Nferno666 and fear-tetsuo's egos clashed. I even remember how it was like inside the Drunken Smashers "Dungeon" (thats is how they called it in senshuk). It had a "Gentlemen's Club" topic which was quite funny. And it had flame.
Nferno666 says: I am the best fighter!
fear-tetsuo says: No, I am the best fighter!
The best clan at the moment was Chaos Core. It was the most underrated because everyone thought that DS would be the strongest especially with the High Profile user names it had (TarkanX, fear-tetsuo, HoTsAucE, Nferno666).
-----------

Anyways, back to the topic. I am thinking about buying Nintendo Revolution. I have played Super Smash Brothers since it came out in Nintendo 64, and now I play Melee in Gamecube. My best character is Pikachu. I have mastered it to perfection, and I rarely lose when I use him. I give myself a 97-98% chance of winning, not to be conceited but I fliping own in that game. I play that game atleast 20 minutes a day just for I won't rust up. I will get back to you Dan if I ever end up getting the online play compatibility (I know for sure I am going to get Nintendo Revolution with SSB.)

dominicankid098: well, that was a turbulent time in the Drunken Smashers history. fear_tetsuo was talking all kinds of crap, and all around being a jerk in there, and we had had enough of it.

I'm starting this clan so early so that there's time to study up on the Smash Bros. system, and so that there's time to build up a strong clan. There's already a Nintendo Wi-Fi Connect (Nintendo's DS (and likely Revolution) online name) clan that has 175 people. There's a lot of work to be done, so it's best to start early.

I'll PM you guys with some questions about SSBM pertaining to the Smash Bros. fighting system, and a few questions about the characters you play. Expect the PM sometime today.

hmmm, as long as they keep the same system it should work, but as you know, the revolution controller still hasn't been released...

Well, the controller can be gotten used to rather quickly; within a day. I'm more talking about changes to the technical system, such as some of the things I PMed you in the SSB questions. They'll likely change, rebalance, or update things in the game, so the game will have to be relearned.

what i meant was they haven't mentioned why the controller is special yet, they are holding that for a while i guess, and dmx the game is for revolution not DS, and you don't need a hotspot to play, you may also use a special device for your dsl or cable connection...

Wow a clan based on Nintendo, thats new. Anyway has anyone got any new info about the revolution? It looks promising since it probably won't be as powerful as the other 2 consoles but is set to be just as entertaining some how. Maybe they'll think of something innovative for the controllers? I'm still waiting for something big to sway my opinion from sony to nintendo though, but good luck with your clan anyway.

it's just a basic next gen console like ps3 and xbox 360, but it has the ability to download any old nintendo game off wifi, the only thing that hasn't been revealed, is many games or what the controller will be. or in other words, the revolution will have something special hidden for now in the controller...

WTF? I vaguely remember this happening, and I remember you on BG maybe a year ago mentioning this when it was being resurrected over there, but, WTF? I never quit the game, exactly... my computer stopped being able to run it. I also don't remember quitting the clan, either, and I was co-leader when DS was around originally... but I do seem to remember hearing something about you being given leadership.

If this is true, in all the years that you were supposedly the leader of DS, you did nothing with it. I ask you, out of politeness to the possibility that this is true, if I may use the clan name that I created once more?
