Sfo forum clan section? - Why not?

As time goes by it becomes apparent a certain site dedicated

to the services pertaining to clans, will not be coming back

any time soon. This being known, i thought to myself, "is it

really such a big deal if the sfo forum implemented a section

dedicated to clans which have evolved from this very game?

Honestly, you wouldn't need but three sections in the forum:

Registraion and application a stronghold section, and a battle

arena. Take this thought into consideration, as i am sure you

already have numerous times. It brings unity to the members

in the community.

I dont care about clans..and I could care less if there was a clan section or not. but I think that if there are enough clans here that would like an individual section for it, then so be it, let there be one.

You're right. I see the overall consensus, although withen the

few responses I have seen, is that the way clans and clan

battles have been arranged in the past , just have not been

successfull. Pretty much the response I expected.

hmm. I say we get rid of the Random Insanity forum and the Banners forum. Then we would have enough space. Random Insanity has pointless topics. Most posts have like one word per member. What is the point of having that? And at the same time look how many replies that forum has. It hasn't stayed up as long as the General Comments and Strategies and it already beats the amount of posts because all people do is spam.

Hey the banners section is fine. And just consider RI as a place to chill out. Dunno about adding a clan section though, I don't really mind.

How about you relax, maybe take a valium or something. You

are probably one of those ten year olds who sit in R.I. with

posts like " I eat coloured playdough, ugnn." Try saying

something constructive.

Viper2040 was going to bring the clans to the SFO forum...


The first offical clan on the SFO forum was going to be "The Missfits"


but the blueprint never jumped off...


but for a short amount of time there was a clan stronghold section in the SFO forum...

And The Missfits was the first clan.....to be introduced to the offical forum in a short lived stronghold known as "Clan HQ".. :huh2:


Also The Missfits are the only TRUE Veterean clan still in circulation...


Along with holding the record of never dying...


Ranking 2nd in the first offical clan war...

And never dying....


Also lead by a user who inwhich at no point left the game for a break...

and I must say he keeps The missfits on the map...his name..."pip99"

Also holding leader status....of the Missfits currentily...


He and myself included were original members of The missfits.


At the time when "SBYRD5" was coleader he mentioned this very subject of this topic to viper2040...


By SBYRD5 and Viper being good friends....Viper considered SBYRD5's request for a clan stronghold at the SFO Forum...


The convo took place in the IRC Chat....which now no longer lives....


Viper being roll's Husband.....decided to give a run through of the ideal to TMyApp....


He approved....


Inwhich it was done....but due to bigger plans for SFO...and no activity....being that the ideal never went public...


It was closed down...the project...


And Yes I am the user which helped create the first offical stronghold in SFo..

:baaa: The point of clans have lost their meaning most people join the clan which is most popular and not the clan which will better help them. Bringing clans here will only flood sfo with countless nonsensical posts all over and not just in RI at least there is some restraint in the RI here now but imagine if all the crazy mofos at BG (no names have been called) came here and spammed just like they do at BG can u imagine the animosity and complexity which the mods would have to face in cleaning it up I mean they have a "life" to u know :biggrin: So in conclusion go outside and when BG returns go there and talk clan stuff and leave it out of here. If you want a battle there are countless "BG impersinators" out there eg underground and mystic (just to name a few) and also U can simply host a "clan tournament" in the challenges and tournaments section or work out with the leaders a battle and have it on your own clan forums
