well I was on nintendo.com before looking at an article of the new Game Boy Micro you can see it here (http://www.nintendo.com/newsarticle?articleid=bd1fe151-e91e-4226-a7ec-d64c321d9479)
lol..I hear its supposed to be better than the SP..

I don't see any point in in the gb micro, why bother going backwards when we have things like a ds.

That's just stupid. Who in their right mind buy another gba just because it's smaller and can fit in your mouth 0_o. The downside with that gba is that you can't play regular gameboy games with it.

maybe it is for the people that cannot afford the ds. you gotta admit it alot of kids probably cannot afford the ds whether they don't have money or there parents won't buy it for them

I'm getting it. I got the GBA around the time it first came out, loved it. Then the SP came...wanted it, but never went for it. But this new thing, it's great! Easy to store and hide at work, and I can bust it out and play with no trouble at all. It's screen is just slightly smaller then the SP's, but it's a nicer screen and also being smaller gives a better image. The GBA is an excelent system, and with this publishers have a reason to continue making software for it, so we can excpet more games in the future. DS is nice and all, but isn't it even bigger then the old school first GameBoy? They started making it smaller and now they have gotten to big!

Also think, Nintendo has worked out ideas like this all the time! First the Game Boy, then the GB Pocket, same thing, but better unit. Then the GB color's...still same thing but can produce color, now the GBA, then SP, now Micro. And it keeps WORKING for them! Look how long they had original GB games for? By changing the unit a bit, adding different colors to choose from, more people bought them, and more games came out! Except to see a variation of the DS, like a smaller unit or different colors in the future.

FYI -- They even did it with the NES, remember the remake that made it look like a SNES?

well those were kinda cool, but we all know the front loading ones were much better, they never break or get dirty, i wish i still had mine.

I have to agree there. Even though I have to bang it and keep trying and blow on it, but it still works!

Me im a nintendo fan but lately i have been really disapointed with nintendo so i play playstation more then anything and the ds to me is a ok but i really dont like my friend has a psp and i like playing that more. ???

I think gameboy micro is stupid. I have SP and thats small enough. It has a flip flop screen, built in light and plays only GBA games. So why they making another gameboy that only plays GBA games? They made DS and then went back to Gamboy micro? Whats the point of that? DS plays both GBA and GBDS games. It IS a waste of time.

[color=#000000:post_uid5]uum..Gameboy Micro is stupid to spend your money for IF you already have a gameboy SP or a Nintendo DS (which supports DS games and gameboy games). It's just a gameboy that is small enough to be put in anywhere and the weight of it is much less. Plus, you can change the look of the gameboy.
