Well, from my understanding, Time's Person of the year isn't really the most "popular" among people... rather, one that actually makes the news for decisions he/she made or how a person affects a bunch o' ppl... in this case, the americans and their president George W bush.

I don't think there's anything wrong with the decision... but yeah 4 more years of bush; shouldn't be too bad :biggrin:

It isn't about popularity, it means who has been the most important throughout the year.

in '43, it was hitler, that's why they chose him then.

people dont have to like him. in 01 or 02 they wanted to choose osamma, which would have been a good choice since you couldnt go 2 seconds without someone saying something about osama.

isn't popuarity, it's importance.

bush is important.

It's because he fu*ckin rigged the vote again...there is a news article that is saying that ppl who were voting using the machine said when they voted kerry all of a sudden it would change to bush...in the beginning ppl thought they were seeing things so they didn't come out about it...until now.
