Many people have different opinions about what each is, thus I have mine. This is just my opinion on the definition of each, and could easily turn into a debate, which I don't mind. Just doin't spam up this topic.
And for those who are going to pull out a dictionary on me, literally, I said opinion. Besides, I doubt that a dictionary refers to a forum for an online game.
And now, the terms themselves.
N 0 0 B: To me, a n 0 0 b is a person who purposely tries to annoy the community. They make unnecesary comments and flame anyone who mentions or doesn't mention their name. I beleive that there are two different types of n 0 0 bs.
1. New N 0 0 B
2. Old N 0 0 B
They are self explanitory.
N e w b i e: I would define a n e w b i e as a person who has recently joined, but does not try to get on anyone's nerves. They are simply posting there opinions or anything else they might have to say.
Vet: A vet would be derived from a n e w b i e, not a n 0 0 b. Vets are people who understand whoit feels like to be new. They don't flame, spam or anything in that category. They are usually well respected members, and thats for a reason.
Regulars: Regulars are members who have been there for a while, but not as long as the vets. They could also be members who have been there longer than the vets, but still don't get as much respect. Either way, they aren't flamers or spammers.
Spammer: A member who constantly posts unnecesary comments just to raise their post count and level.
Respected Spammer: A "respected spammer" is a member who simply has a lot to say on different subjects. They post a lot, but they post on topic. They mean no harm to the forum, other members, or especially their own reputation.
Tagger: Members who make tags for themselves, or other members. Some however, are not always known to be taggers.
These definitions I say again are opinions. They are not official definitions. You may have your opinions on them, and are free to add anything to them if you want. Do not flame me for these defintions, because that would be just stupid, and would clasify you as a n 0 0 b.
