Anyone who actually think this team has a chance isnt really thinking straight. I could go on and on about the stats on the paper. Yes the Pistons may have some defense, but when you look at the team in a whole pretty sad. Anyone think otherwise please reply so we can talk facts... :laugh:

Fact number one is Pistons wouldnt even have made it to the finals not for the Pacers team mostly all injured. Fact number 2 Pacers had no offense what so ever besides the 3 point shot. They still almost beat the Pistons pretty sad. Now Fact 3 is why is it that Larry Brown the Pistons Coach holds his head down when asked about thier shot against the Lakers. Kinda funny that thier own coach dont belive in them. Though watch the game tommorrow while you do watch how Shaq dominates the inside lane. Watch how Kobe shakes the defense by himself. 3. Kobe barely plays any kind of d sprewell lit him up and hes past his prime plus kobe has to travel back in forth and its taking it toll on his body.

4 Shaq is a Beast but Ben or Rasheed can contain him to a certain extent.

5 Whats Gary supposed to do he dosent even fit into the
triangle offense hes not a spot up shooter which the lakers run.

Oh my God.. that was just one game and you guys are celebrating.. lol... believe it or not.. it happened in the 70s; where they (the Pistons) won the first game and the Lakers went on to sweep them in the next 4 games.. Whether or not it'll happen again, is left to time... but what I'm sure of is that that was just the first game and there'll be no cause for panic. The Lakers were unaware of the strategy the Pistons were using against them.. so they were caught off guard.. They decided to play them straight up and not double team Shaq or Kobe (hence they scored about 80% of all the Lakers points) and they decided to guard the other role players.. thereby limiting their effect on the game. Malone didn't score until the final quater.. I think and Payton wasn't that much of a threat.. so there ya have it.

That does not mean the Pistons are gonna win 4 games in this 7 game series :biggrin:

By the way if either Carl Malone or Gary Payton score 10 - 12 points its gameover for the Pistons before it starts.
